  • god bless our american men and women soldiers. USA motherfuckers!!

  • The Marine commander wanted to take Peleliu with just his Marines. It was a long costly bloodbath. Still he didn't want help from the Army, who had their hands full with Angaur Island. These islands should of been bypassed, they were not needed on the march to Japan. God bless these brave men. My dad was regular Army on Guam in WW 2.

  • may all the soul rest in peace

  • The tanks of the 710th Tank Battalion can be seen throughout the film. My grandfather was in the lead tank, 1st Platoon, A Company, of the 710th, which were attached to the 321RCT and landed on Blue Beach. A Company and the 321 RCT were sent to Peleliu after only a few days, but the other units stayed longer, before moving to Peleliu to reinforce the Marines.

  • My father was 1 of 33 of the original cadet from the west coast who went to Alabama and trained these Men for the 81st Infantry. These men were all farm-boys from the mid west and southern USA..
