The reason I liked World at War was the full campaign co-op...it's the only COD to have campaign co-op and I thought it was implemented very well...and being able to enable competitive scoring made it even more fun. In fact I wish I could find some people to play it with again.

Seriously, calling Call of Duty World at War SHIT is just wrong. Tobin, you said when you play FPSs you would like to be taken to another world. It turns out that PETA is upset over CODWAW. They are made over the fact that the player in multiplayer has to kill dogs and they feel that this could influence kids(who shouldn't be playing this game. It is rated M.) into killing dogs in real life. You can find the full story by just googling "call of duty world at war dogs peta". I was just curious on what you guys thought about this.

the only problem with the multiplayer for cod waw was it was a copy paste of cod 4 with different weopons and maps

so people were already used to it and the fun factor worn off quicker because it wasn't fresh. I just hope that IW does alot of stuff to modern warfare 2 to make it fresh

Actually one reason is not very much and while that can be true its not in this case. What if I said the guns are more enjoyable in CoD WaW, what does that say? Guns don't matter unless it comes down to realism and fairness (Something CoD 4 didn't have and CoD WaW did). Also the maps are semi-unimportant and even with this true the maps in WaW set a way better tone and had much more work put in to them. Luckily there is no repeat of shitty Shipment or Wetwork.

There is way better spawns in WaW because there isn't much grenade spammers like in 4 as a result of less grenades, also the M 16, P 90, mp5, SAW, that hmg I forget the name, are over powered, In waw you are killed with two shots almost regardless of weapon, like real life! unlike 4 where these five kill you in 1 shot and these in ten.

You obviously haven't played COD4 if you think that COD:WAW is better spawns. I can't began to count how many times I've had the ENTIRE enemy team spawn around me, spawn into dogs and artillery and spawning into a grenade. Those things happen constantly in COD:WAW where as in COD4 those things rarely happen. And those guns you mention do not kill in 1 shot, only the M16 will kill in one burst to the chest. The weapon balancing in COD:WAW is terrible, SMGs will rape everything.

I've played both equally and have neither, but still played through both Campaigns many times and have become addicted to the online. What I find is that in 4 everyone uses one tactic. Base rape and/or grenade spam, which is cut down in COD WaW because of the new system of only 2 grenades max and indoor spawns (most of the time) In CoD 4 the maps were more start here and here in the open and everyone could be killed with one grenade becasue your packed so tightly. You must be spawncamping.

Call of Duty: WaW wasn't a great storyline...the graphics are amazing and the Russian Sniping mission was pretty cool and that was all the good points of that....kinda reminded me a bit of call of duty 3 in single player.

ya im on the last mission of call of duty 5, and im on hardened and i think its the first time that I've actually thought of a game as challenging instead of just hard, and i enjoyed every part of it, even when i die, it would give me another opportunity to try something different. But the multiplayer(witch is what you will be doing after you finish the campaign)is not the same as call of duty 4, the maps seem bigger and even though the game seems to have faster pace, the action is less frequent

i especially loved the shire bcause u woud have to teams and they woud all charge into the middle area to capture the trolls or ents and it was a hectic battle
