  • Nice one man, little kid playing games running around as a man with guns. AWESOME!!

  • Yeah, it's terrible isn't it. That's my nephew. I would never let him play anything like that. Mom and Dad let him play that one. But he could be playing Grand Theft Auto at least the one he was playing wasn't a gory shoot em' up game.

  • is this an xl1 or an xl2

  • Hi I'm thinking about buying a letus, but in your opinion how do you like the Redrock adapter?

  • Well, of course you can acheive depth of field with just about any camera. But, with the adapter you can be extremely creative. Using a variety of different lenses 17mm, 50mm, 85mm, you can use extreme telephoto lenses. Don't rely on the adapter to make your videos look professional. A lot of people use the adapter as a crutch for film-like quality. Focus on composition and the purpose/reason for the DOF.

  • great !!!

  • I'm not going to pretend that i know anything about shooting footage but this is truly a nice piece of work for a test see i only work with film photography :/

  • Simple but Powerful. May ask the title of the song. Thanks!

  • Jon Mclaughlin - Indiana

  • I spent all night Googling the name of the song. Beautiful song, thanks again

  • can i ask why you chose the Letus35, over canon's own EF adapter?

  • The Canon EF Adapter gives you the ability to mount a canon EOS lens to the XL series camera. BUT the focal length is multiplied by 7.8 (or something to that extent) This means that all the lenses are EXTREME telephoto.

With the Letus35 Extreme, there's a ground glass, where the image coming from the lens, makes a picture about the size of a 35 mm frame. No magnification.

Hope that helps if you were considering.

  • yeah thanks, i wanted a canon EF though... :) lol

  • Thanks for reply..

I'm going to buy my Letus35 Extreme. Which type of lens adapter you would suggest - Nikon AI, Canon FD or Canon EF?

Thank so much for your respons

  • Nikon would probably be the best. But, the FD lenses are much cheaper and work very well. Also, you are able to manually adjust the iris with the FD lenses. Depends, on the type of lenses you are wanted to purchase

  • Nice footage..

Is it true that if we use EF lenses with 53mm adpter we have to adjust the iris in EOS camera? Thanks

  • Yes, that is true.

  • thanks for posting.

how did you find it working with the EF lenses and the adapter? What did you do about changing aperture on the EF lens? Did you just put the lens on and leave it wide open?

  • Yes, all lenses were shot wide open.....I would much rather use the FD lenses.....but I had several lenses using my rebel XTi....So, I will be purchasing FD mount/lenses shortly as well as a Panasonic HVX-200......can't wait...thanks for commenting

  • wow, thats some great footage!
