Actually to add to the discussion about sociopath's they do have emotions just a severe lack of empathy, meaning in short terms that they cannot relate to any one else's emotions other than their own. To want something is an emotion, to feel bored is an emotion. Being a sociopath doesn't mean you hate everybody but you are likely to dislike people because you don't understand them on an emotional level. I am not a sociopath I do however have asperger's which has lack of empathy as a symptom.
