First of all my compliments for your playing.You rock on dude!!!Great techniques,phrasing and chops..But i've got a question...How do you run your pod to the speaker?what kind of preamp do you use?I've own a pod xt live for 2 days and i run it straight into my marshall amp and it sounds horrible.That's why.
the problem you have might be the speaker simulation....try to go directly to the power amp of your amp (fx return) and use that one,..for further tips refer to the manual;)
tell me exsercices to improve my right hand, i hope that soon buy a cam to rec myself playing

i was using a usual mixer, no amp or anything.
the problem you have might be the speaker simulation....try to go directly to the power amp of your amp (fx return) and use that one,..for further tips refer to the manual;)
