  • Fucking nob head, A field cant end anything, Its like a fucking CLOUD. Altho you get Transported , But they are 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000mmmmmmmm AWAY you div ,

  • @Joeandjesse1 wut

  • Get the James Webb telescope up ASAP!!

  • The deep field image changed my life.

  • Isn't it rather looking to the BEGINNING of Time ?

  • anyone who sees these millions of galaxies and still thinks we are the only intelligent beings in the universe is dumb.

  • @rjtherocker thats what i say. like when its night and im smoking a ciggarette, lookin up out the sky its so fuckin' huge i dont understand why we would be the only ones.

  • im an athiest because i doubt every religions beliefs and because

    science proves right

  • Fantastic, Good!!

  • Love the part where the says "...shaped the way humanity looks at the Universe today." If that were true, Theists would burn their Bibblits and stop thinking the Earth was created by magic words and is just over 6,000 years old.

As for civilized life out there, Drake's Equation says 100% probability. Even a single planet can have 1 species after another dominate for thousands or millions of years before going extinct. Drake's doesn't account for civilizations that are ET influenced. Like us.

  • @TheCrimsonification Although I am maddened by the religious idiots who teach that the world is 10,000 years old, I believe that you are just as bad for feeding the troll.

  • @gtas321 I couldn't give a retarded Afghan goat's ass-raped hiney. As for religious bullshit, they are so far beneath even snake sheddings covered in vermin shit, I don't even acknowledge them as relevant anymore. Just brainless fucking rejects with bullshit on the mind.

  • @TheCrimsonification This is actually not true. Look up "religious scientists". They actually aren't all stupid.

  • @gtas321 Christian Science....Eat shit and fuck a sweaty crevice.

  • @gtas321 Look up I don't give a flying rats ass." Oh and check out "GO fuck yerself."

  • @gtas321 Look up Atheist that ain't batshit crazy...fucktard...:)

  • @TheCrimsonification You don't think worshipping an imaginary skyfuck ain't batshit crazy, jerksock? Crawl up your religions ass and inhale the bullshit till it kills ya. Fucking retard.

  • @TheCrimsonification: That's no way to treat the, incontinent, er, moronic, um, incompetent, wha, fucking religiously stupid

Have a heart, use monosyllable words on them and say "aw shucks" and "Double dirty rat" instead

  • @gtas321 You talk like I give a Fuck...that's silly, cause I couldn't give a puddle of vomit for yer opinion...cunt. :)

  • @TheCrimsonification Your stupidity and idiocy has no place on any videos involving science

  • @gtas321 Ouch. my tiny lil feeling goy stung...wait...no, it's just an asscrack itch. Find a dark place and drop dead, douchebag.

  • @gtas321 You mean "Christian Science" that would like us to believe Jesus walked with dinosaurs. Go fuck a Crocaduck.

  • @TheCrimsonification There is no such thing as christian science...

  • cool stuff! makes me think of how small we really are, and with an un-nameable number of galaxies out there, the possibilities of life besides our own little patch of Earth :)

  • The beer commercial advertised prior to this video makes me think perhaps we earthly beings are being laughed at far, far away. :D

  • So we saw galaxies 12 billion light years away to the North and 12 billion light years away to the South and I am in the group of people who do not believe that we are in the exact centre of the universe (or are we?) so that means the known universe is without a doubt older then 24 billion years old. At least 24 billion but the only objects I see clearly are fully formed galaxies in both hemisperes How many billion of years does it take to form those from a bloody great explosion

  • Thanks Hubble, you little R2-D2 in the sky.

  • Shouldn't it be looking to the begining of time?

  • HUDF is fucking amazing...no even comparable to your desert bronze age bullshit fables

  • Do we have to separate the athiests and the religious? You're both acting like children. Sit down and talk about the video, not about your opposing beliefs. Don't make me get the detention slips out.

  • Let me first say that I am not an atheist. Next, allow me to say that I agree wholeheartedly with Brutal90Death's observation.

I see what the ancient engineers, architects, and philosophers were capable of, then I see the Dark Ages and wonder what world I would be living in if they never happened. Perhaps I would be closer to my dream of standing on a satellite not called "earth". Perhaps humanity would've killed itself off. Oh well, at least Hubble is there to give me the next best thing. =)

  • I love the music in this video. I wonder what the name of it is?

  • @Joshiesgotagun right! i want the song rite before the very last one 10:35

  • Each image of each galaxy is existing in a different time. So if you travel toward one of the galaxies the images would change as if someone was painting a picture of the galaxy each day and sending it towards us. As you travel you would pass the images and they would change , becoming closer to what is going on now(the same now that you exsist in) but the now you are heading towards cannot be seen until you get there.

  • explain why gravity always existed and why time never cones to an end...

    only god can answer that.

    we just start guessing.

  • @bigpurple100 explain why god always existed.if he even existed

  • I hate religious people. But if there was a god, I would be right next to the devil - anyone who believes in god sounds like a boring, conservative, narrow minded, beget. At least the devil rebelled against authority and asked questions... Maybe us atheists are all devils? Better watch out you god followers. On a serious note, we are both anomalistical and unique. Although we are meaningless in comparison to the cosmos we have a very high level of entropy that makes us special. God does not exi

  • Steve’s final words, hours earlier, were monosyllables, repeated three times.

Before embarking, he’d looked at his sister Patty, then for a long time at his children, then at his life’s partner, Laurene, and then over their shoulders past them.

    Steve’s final words were:

OH WOW. OH WOW. OH WOW.

  • These pictures of the universe encourage the imagination, as they convey the message of the creator, saying, size can be infinite in proportion, and he understands beauty, whilst we can only appreciate it.

He never seizes to impress us in the mind, on the street, on earth, and even out there in space.

Hope we meet again in good time, till then, we toil in the mud over here, as we prepare our own galaxy.

Praise be to God, the Chief Architect Of Project Good.

  • Wonderful images from Hubble. Thanks to all who made it possible.

  • The Time Will End When Christ Will Come And Break The Cross By His Own Hands and Will Offer a Prayer After Imam Mehdi (the Guided One) And then He'll Defeat the Antichrist And After that Till His Death , a period of Calmness will befall and after that the time will end !!

  • An lamh le Dia! Beannacht De leatsa. Beannacht De na hanamacha na marbh.

  • Should not the title of this video be "Looking To The Beginning Of Time" of our present observable Universe ? But if the Universe follows a cyclical pattern of creation & destruction then the beginning & end could the same, giving a sense of symmetry.

  • Why are all you religious kooks watching this science channel? Hoping that Hubble will take a picture of God? Why would God make all of those distant galaxies for what reason if Earth is the only place to put life? Just so we would have something to look at. Man made all of the Gods now there only about four left to unmake.

  • Scryptjure Top Ten:

  • @Zouscarlett You seem to be spouting shit. Was a cat on your keyboard?

  • Early in the morning call unto thy God, and in the evening forget not His love nor His benefits saying upon awaking, be STILL & know that the Lord is GOD. Ask ye be guided, THIS day, to so live that ye may stand between the living & the dead. Evening qua ye sit at meat, be STILL for a while not fuzzing around. Again give thanks for the day & its opportunities. Thus may ye, qua seekers 4 divine guidance, be uplifted&hasten that great Day when warre (immune system war & abroad) would bte no more.

  • Why is it that every decent video I go to about astronomy or any kind of science for that matter has stupid unending arguments in the comment section about creationism vs evolution???

  • what do you "scientists" who believe that followers of Jesus' teachings are without knowledge or lacking wisdom think of Martin Luther King Jr.? He was believer, a pastor for that matter. He died for what he believed in and he knew he would. Did he spread ignorance, did he lead man in the wrong direction?

  • Thank you for this excellent video.

  • smoke weed err damn day

  • Absolutely breath taking

  • 28 days exposure. WOW!! i wonder what kind of tripod they used for that LOOOL

  • actualy this is looking to the begining of time...

  • SCIENCE IS A MYTH!

  • @Coasterkid94 how so? science is more than just a body of knowledge, its a way of thinking as well. There is no thinking or logic in religion....just ignorance, some good teachings, morals, superstitious fears and most importantly invisible concrete evidence. Try reading a science book or perhaps.....reading yourself thoroughly in order to find that your mind is rather a useful tool that can be outrageous to just go and waste on beliefs over researched, well supported facts.

  • @castroiscool fist i would just like to state the fact that i am not a religous person and that the only sicence that is not a myth is Nazi Super Sicence LOL no jk i am trying to piss people off so i thought this would get some fires lit but guss not

  • Love the video!!! Have to add this, religious people go fuck yourself, go watch 10 the commandments~!~!

  • Unlimited energy sources are out there! But the Establishment doesn't want ppl to know this,Find this technology at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Be part of the revolution!

  • @hungarylnnjsd I don't think you'll find many takers for that moronic scam at science videos, you know. Why don't you find some christtard video or muslim video or something instead..:)

  • regrets kicking Xanax.... Wait.... NAAAH

  • It's the end of the world as we know it and I fell fine lalalalala (it's a song)

  • @TruthfulChristian

How dull would this world be without idiots like you? lol And while there's no convincing you of the real truth (insert:well you're right about one thing), I do take joy in knowing that the scientists with all the real answers will take us farther than people like you ever will. I have FAITH that -evolution- will eventually take out your genetic line for good. THUMBS UP if you wanna shake this guy by his shirt and yell "WAKE UP!!!!".

  • @Minute158 I find it odd how so many scientists write off the existence of a god yet cannot disprove it. science will never be proven true, it can only be proven untrue. prove that a god does not exist...

  • @JRayMalcolm You're argument is flawed or rather broken. I know what you're trying to say but it falls short. The reason for that is because you can't prove something that doesn't exist because there are no evidence for it. Like the unicorn or Dawkins spaghetti monster. It's the same reasoning. Can you prove the spaghetti monster doesn't exist? No, you can't because it doesn't exist.

Therefore it is easier to disprove things rather then prove them. You understand where I'm going?

  • @JRayMalcolm science will never be proven true? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • @JRayMalcolm Prove that one does

  • @JRayMalcolm False is the default position almost always, that's why many scientists don't believe in god. Your "prove he doesn't exist" is full of double standards, I'm sure even you can see that.

As for proving science false and never true, you're just talking out of your ass at that point.

  • @JRayMalcolm How do you disprove the existence of something for which there is no evidence of its existence in the first place? As for "science" never being proven true......unfortunately science is not an entity - it is a method of inquiry. The success of that method is the reason you don't have to freeze in a cave at night wondering which predator is going to have you for dinner. It is the reason we can generate and exploit electrical energy for heating and cooking etc. etc. etc.

  • @Minute158 The sad reality is idiots breed in higher numbers than the intellectual, chiefly due to said idiocy. It's a sad reality.

  • @Minute158 well there making a more powerful one so maybe it can see jesus

  • I'm finding this presentation to be lacking in continuity. Important parts pertinent to the title are skimmed over, and the story goes off on tangents. The topic of "looking to the end of time" is poorly captured, the imagery of the nebula is out of context for the narration and topic.

  • @xshoreLS1 Damn, I gave myself a thumbs down when I meant to give this video a thumbs down. lol ah well

  • drops an aspirin pill in a glass of clear spring water

  • wonderful,just wonderful :)

  • Whoa Whoa Whoa...did it find Jesus or not?

  • if science were a woman I'd have sex with her. :D

  • i am courios to discover New Thing in earth yo i fucking Love science when they talk about planets :D

  • If they can look so far back in time...Why cant they find our galaxy and maybe earth to check it out? HA HA

  • A peephole to the ancient universe... I love science.

  • Gravity, the king of all forces ?! o_O

  • @PhoenX19 yes.. gravity is a force..

  • @davidealessio Yes, it absolutely is! But why call the weakest of all four fundamental forces the ''king of all forces''?

  • @PhoenX19 Gravity makes black holes... :P

  • @Acrimonator The Electromagnetic force, which governs atomic structure, chemical reactions and magnetism, is 10^36 times stronger than gravity... and still is second to last. Im not tryin to say its not important tho...

  • @PhoenX19 No known force, being eletromagnetism, weak/strong nuclear force, can resist gravity in a pulsar or a black-hole. My gravity is stronger than your magnetism and weak/strong nuclear force combined... Jk

  • @Acrimonator I must concede that a tear in the fabric of space of space-time is impressive :P

  • The way galaxies coalesce makes me gape in awe xD

  • Wish I had a few extra lives, so I could learn so much in this area of Science.

  • @TruthfulChristian Time only had a beginning in the sense that our limited, temporal, 3D minds only allow us to think in terms of linear time flowing forward. The universe however does not have to share our definition of time- which was, itself, unleashed in the big bang. Time was not ticking by while the singularity sat idle; time ITSELF was idle. If you can think outside your bible for long enough to get your head around that, you'll find the real truth that god is imaginary.

  • Great! 'Touch the sky!' :)

  • why can´t the big bang energy light be observed if the universe is expanding like a balloon and hubble looks back in time? Not only that but what observed objects lead to that theory, or was that part of the video thrown in for fun?

  • Many go a great deal claiming that this marvelous cosmos was created by their ancient God. The very same God who condemns homosexuality, premarital sex, endorses slavery, punishes sin, walks on water, turns it into wine and requires people to worship him in order to avoid eternal damnation Is the one who created the universe.

Only shows the frailty of human thought during the periods that sprung up religious dogmas.

  • If we can look into the past with the hubble, is it feasable that we can also look into the future? Maybe or not by different methods than a telescope, but by this thought process is it not possible?

  • @spacerider01 If you can come up with negative distances you could look in the future yes tough such a thing is mathematically impossible. Instead however it seems the existance of wormholes that connect random points in space and time seems mathematically possible tough we have no evidence for their existance yet.

  • i so want the music playing at 5 mins

  • Beautiful video, truly breathtaking, thanks for uploading !

  • He has a nervous swagger every time he speaks. Interesting how people do things unconsciously and it looks uncomfortable to us.

  • Beautiful insight in time and matter. To be part of this feels great!1!1

  • ASTONISHING!!

  • I question it alot and i love short videos like this to get my brain thinking about what essentially is the most important questions that we can ever ask.

Humanity is so ungreatful on the whole, we are more worried about war, religion and other pointless things... lets focus our resources, intelligence and time to this shit and we would get alot further in developing our knowledge and understanding!

  • @stuartwwillis I couldn't agree with you more. It's just very unfortunate that most people miserably fail to realize this. Perhaps one day we can come together to contribute to the progression of humanity...through space! Can you imagine if those same number of people who are concerned with such trivial things like appearance, & celebirty lifestyles embrace the scientific method instead? Wouldn't our rate of advancement increase?

  • @Ecite Star Trek Universe..where are you? I want humanity to reach that stage already!

  • @stuartwwillis but then how would the rich stay rich?

  • @stuartwwillis

Without the dark times the church brought in middle age, we could be colonizing planets, or even traveling to other systems within the galaxy.

Just imagine, 1000 years lost because of manipulation of religious belief.

  • @Brutal90Death still being lost. religion still has to strong a hold on humanity

  • @lordkol666 Its a part of the history of the human race man, religion will never disappear. EVERONE subconsciously knows it's real, however they want to explain it there is always good vs. evil in our world. I saw on an awards show the other month, jack black told ppl to hold hands and prayed to satan, everyone laughed it off as a joke... As light hearted as it was, he was praying. You say you don't believe in religion yet your name ends in 666.

  • @Pulsed101 moronic

  • @Pulsed101 moronic. Most folks that are not easily lead KNOW that religion is a tool to shepherd the sheep. Satan is a joke, a cartoon character at best that people use yo scapegoat for their shortcomings. My username? characters on a keyboard.

  • @Brutal90Death It's really quite depressing to think about, I hope I get to live long enough to see the end of Religion....Probably won't happen but a guy can dream.

  • @Corvius47 I hope so to man. the possibilities end with religion.

  • @Brutal90Death Jesus was a real person, there is evidence for it, whether he was/is the son of God is up to individuals to decide, but the church from the dark times didn't think up christianiy out of thin air..

  • @Pulsed101 thin air??? of course it was.

  • @Brutal90Death and imagine how we are manipulated now in 2011...we cant go to mars because it costs to much money...

  • @MrBsbs I agree..Its so fkn stupid that we cant bring ourselves further as a race and explore planets and space because of a stupid thing like money.

  • @Brutal90Death I agree with you about how much farther we'd be without religion.

But, the middle ages and dark ages weren't as dark as people think.

There were lots of scientific discoveries and advancements going on.

However, religion has hindered independent thought and curiosity to explore.

  • @Brutal90Death Well actually the catholics thought it was witchcraft but actually most of the scientist that were killed were christians which means that your wrong look up your history you'll find out alot of stuff thats shocking

  • @Brutal90Death your statement presupposes that the church was an external force acting upon mankind, rather than the fact that mankind innately senses the spiritual and therefore tends to be religious. Your argument could just as easily be applied to oppressive governments that were atheist in nature, like Communism. The first steam powered device was invented thousands of years ago, yet steam power wasn't used until the 1800s, did the church stifle that progress as well?

  • @Brutal90Death furthermore, the Chinese had gun powder for centuries but it was much later that this substance was employed in devices like cannons to propel projectiles. The church again? LOL You really need to understand the true nature of discovery and invention, because the historical record of mankind clearly renders your blaming of religion as the key impediment to advancement as false. Ever heard of the Baghdad battery? or the Antikythera mechanism? The church again? Hardly :)

  • @Brutal90Death Thats highly speculative, makes u think though

  • @Brutal90Death

It too late to ever colonize planets now.

  • @Brutal90Death 1000 years ago, science wasn't as advanced as it is today, and there were tragedies such as the Bubonic Plague's pandemic, Dark Ages, etc. In times like those, people need to think that there's a light in the darkness. If anything, we'd be even further behind had religion never existed. Most people would be too depressed to bother with anything!

Still, I understand what you're saying, and though I don't agree, I respect your opinion.

  • @Brutal90Death It's easier to blame religious beliefs or heirarchy or a monetary system but just don't blame humanity because people can't handle that can they?

  • @Brutal90Death It had more to do with central economic planning than anything else.

  • @Brutal90Death Religious failed, but not Jesus and Christians.

  • @Brutal90Death IS EDIOT

  • @stuartwwillis theres over 6billion of us im sure we can focus on more than just space exploration, well actually we have to coz if you haven't noticed we're in a global recession :)

  • @stuartwwillis I could not have said it any better myself.......

and yet, unfortunately....we continue to delude our minds still.

  • @stuartwwillis

    well said

  • my religion is science... it explains so much, and its not 'maybes, or buts and ifs' but hard facts, we can see there are more galexies in a pinprick of the sky than we ever imagined. Its almost 99.99% sure that there are planets out there that would harbour life in some form. Shame they are so far away that we will never know without some kind of 'warp speed', or 'worm hole' access.

  • subbed

  • Cheers. Spot on!

  • Amazing pictures. Nice video!

  • How old is this video? I was just wondering because the James Webb Space Telescope isn't scheduled for launch until 2014 now.

  • @reasonintheright the last frame says "15 years of Hubble", so my guess is this was done in 2005, since we're now celebrating even 20 years of amazing Hubble discoveries :)

  • To extend our vision, you don't only need a supercrisp mirror, you also have to increase your exposure time- perhaps a glimpse into ourselves is no longer adequate.

  • Where's all the intelligent extraterrestial lifeforms??

  • Where do you find your music for these videos?

  • @VWLPT The score was written by Movetwo. They're a German duo, I think.

  • @VWLPT The music was specially written by movetwo for this documentary. I don't know if it's available seperately, but if you like the videos and the soundtrack, consider buying the DVD "Hubble - 15 years of discovery". The score is included =3

  • ...and I'll add that the song in this vid was called "Evolution" (nr 3 on the soundtrack).

  • primitive minds could conjure images of bears, wolves, man, gods, minions of evil and other creatures just by looking at the stars with their bare eyes.... what if we handed them the images from Hubble... what would they conjure then?

  • who are the two idiots that 'disliked' this video?

  • @polop1234 Ha, I was going to post that myself.

Apparently the only two ignorant idiots that thought they were going to find some new techno crap sound track.

  • @rideordiewarren bahaha

  • Time is no start or end

  • BEAUTIFUL!

  • @TruthfulChristian were you the 1 person that gave this video a thumbs down? There's 68 thumbs up. and 1 thumbs down. Just wondering. And goodluck with that whole jesus thing. Hope that works out for you. So, what made you choose to worship jesus and not the other thousands of gods? I mean jesus did have some sexy hair didn't he? But, what was it for you?

  • @Bluelemonzz I can't answer for TruthfulChristian, however I will tell you why Jesus is my only Lord & Saviour. HE is the only God, I have ever met, seen, been visted by, been saved by and been LOVED by. HE is the only one that was willing to accept me as I am. HE has forgiven me my sins and offered me Eternal Life. He lives with me, and has not abandoned me. HE is there for me whenever I need HIM. Now where are your other Gods? What do they offer you?

  • @researchologist look I've given up trying to talk sense into the religious community. It's tireding and the conversation does not go in any positive direction; just in circles. So, here's my new reply which requires no stress on my part.. If you are happy in your life, keep doing what makes you happy. Thank you.

  • @researchologist Why would anyone offer anything to us?Why would I need eternal life if I remember the past, enjoying the present and looking forward to the future?I do not need saviour, lord,I don't need anyone to save me and people who I need to accept me - well, they just do - they are real life friends. I don't need Gods to accept me. I don't need God to forgive me my sins. Those are my sins, why would I need anyone, beside my family and friends to forgive me?Some of us just don't need any Gods.

  • @Bluelemonzz isnt it funny how even the perception of Jesus is so deceiving. if jesus ever existed he wasnt white, with green eyes, and nice hair. he was probably brown to black skin, very curly hair, and dark eyes.

  • The cosmos is so beautiful, it's wonderful

  • Where was GOD, JESUS, ALLAH, and all of the other mythical beings?? OH!! That's right, there are invisible! Silly me!!!! :P

  • Comment removed

  • @musicalaviator You're right about Dark Matter being invisible, but are you saying that these mythical beings are real and are just invisible? I hope not.

  • i donno why these religious preachers come 2 science vids to talk shIt .. piss off ..

  • I wish I could be shot into space and given the ability to travel from galaxy to galaxy faster than light so I could see more of the beauty of our universe.

  • There is absolutely ntohing beautifuler than the universe.

  • @TruthfulChristian Um, no I don't have to admit that god did it because there is no evidence that god did it. Plus, if time, matter and energy were all created by god, what was he made of?
