  • @mslovelybeautifulkj you know your typing k k k k k k k k k k k k k etc right?

  • @awsome2031 it's the korean version of hahaha

  • @itseffinsexxitime im korean i know the language that symbol makes a "k" sound of course you dont say k when say it is like saying its like english you dont say be you say "b"

  • @awsome2031 i can't understand a damn thing you're saying bro, but saying k k k k means kekeke which is how koreans write laughing.

  • blood sausage, garlic sauce, spiced cabbage, seaweed..... nothing bizarre.. I love korean food btw

  • we have the same in spain and latin america. the black sausage(morcilla).

  • @Belphegor83 si la comí, fue ricisimo.

  • bony faced koreans...

  • and the last dring was pig's sperm?

  • @Russkyfriend No, its alcohol.

  • in chile we have a similar sausage made of blood :O! is really tasty

  • Looks fabulous!

  • Man i always wanted to enjoy eating 순대 because everyone LOVED IT SO MUCH 근대 드럽게 맛이없당.

  • it's "sauce" not "source"

  • @takadi I know! I don't know why I made that mistake...Sorry about that!

  • it actually looks...nice

  • well, it's just like the irish blood sausage, spanish morcilla and french boudin

  • @kimjeongyun irish blood sausage?is that not just black pudding?

  • most BAizarre food here in the USA is prairie oysters (bull testicles) very common in Texas and the mountain region of America. Compared to that this is nothing XD

  • you and your friends are so cute!always having fun together, eating!! lol:D

  • oh wow...so is this similar to chitterlings "chitlins" and pickled pigs ear here in america? cause we (well some...) eat all of those same parts in southern america...but they're cooked and seasoned different. ear, intestine , feet, brain of the pig.

  • this food has a long standing history... you have burgers in America, there's soondae in Korea.Very delicious food,I didn't like it at first but later can't stop craving for more !

  • morcilla!!!!

  • I tried that stuff before, I just dont like the ears because the texture is like an ear... lol

  • hi. where exactly is this place? i woud like to visit this restaurant when i come to korea in december..

  • People tends to emphasize that soondae is made from pig intestine or whatever.

Only the casing is the pig intestine lining The filling is potato noodle seasoned with pig/cow's blood.

Western sausages use cow intestine lining for their casing (they do use pig, sheep, goat intestines as well as artificial casings)

And there are blood sausages in the western culture also.

So soondae can't be called all that bizarre. It's just a Korean blood sausage.

I copied the strange characters in the title and rewrote them in random orders. For anyone who can read this, what does it literally translate to?? :-)

  • not a fan of Soondae, it feels weird eating it, chewy, but i wouldn't call it bizarre, it's just noodles stuffed in pig intestines, hot dogs are a bizarre food, it's everything we don't eat from other pieces of meat

  • Each countries has their own bizarre food :) and Soondae is just one of those. I love Soondae lol

  • to easy eat those all unusual food..

  • no Bizarre

  • That actually looked good

  • LOL!! Not Bizarre at all!! African Americans, we have chitterlings which is pig intestines cleaned very well boiled twice cut up and eaten with some hot sauce.!! Especially the older generations eat it.

  • @sheliene12 I was just thinging that lol, I wonder if they eat pig's feet and pig tails too

  • @Atroonks Yes many do! LOL! much of the younger generation avoid it. Many can't stand the sight of it. My parents loved it. They even used to buy Pickled pigs feet in a jar! lol! Then there are Ham hocks which looks like that other Korean dish which is considered a snack but made with fresh hocks. Ham hocks are smoked. I am not going to even lie. I have eaten it too! lol! I cook a lot anyway and like to try different foods.

  • I love soondae!! It's such a pity that I can't find it in France :(

  • @cys12141 Korea has to be in the top 10... At least sanitary wise.

  • korean cuisne: the crudest, worst cuisine in Asia. (BTW I'm Korean so don't call me a bigot)

  • i ate soondae when i was a vegetarian.. just recently found out that it was pig .. WHY didnt my friends tell me?!?!? they knew................. ToooooooooooT

but it was really good though! i wanna eat it again ;D

  • I love Soondae!

  • Yeah you got it :) Yum!

  • Aha, wow...we don't have much food like that here in England. Well, we have black pudding I guess. And haggis up in Scotland.

  • @StAshleigh Black pudding~ we have that too, if that is what I think. :) I loved Guiness beer in London, it's different from Korean's. miss so much :) thanks for watching.

  • Maggeolli is great! but everyone knows when you drank it because of the smell :)

Soondae is also delicious, with some garlic salt! Did you also have soondae kuksu?

  • @EBattousai The smell's funny~! I haven't tried soondae kuksu~ but do you mean soondaekuk? (soondae soup) I love it!

  • vietnamese food also contains all of these dishes :)

and we have our own 막걸리 :)

  • @itstrangyy I love vietnamese food a lot, although I don't think vietnamese food in Korea are same as original!

  • Comment removed

  • @liza183

i heard that korean people like pho (vietnamese rice noodles) and i've always wanted to try it in Korea and see the difference :)

i wish i could go and try all these foods, there are few korean restaurants in Manchester when i wish there were more. i've been to them all but i always feel like there are lacking somethingg ><"

  • Well, in my country we eat a lot of pork and we usually make a sausage similar just we put rice instead of noodles in it...so I could easily try it...same with the liver...my granny always eats the ears though, I would not really eat that one though :)))

  • @xxxAngelikaxxx I wanna try the rice one :) btw, where are you from Angelika?

  • I am from Hungary...bet you don't have another hungarian subscriber HAHA :) Next year I plan on going to Seoul for a year, so if you want I can bring you some HIHI

  • @xxxAngelikaxxx Angelika :) 안녕 ! Im from Austria, Vienna (Bec), so we are neighbours, compared to the others here :) . Do you also have that kind of "blood sausage" in hungary, like we have here in Austria? But i think its not filled with rice, but with white bread! Do you know what i'm talking about? Because the kitchen in Austria and Hungary have a lot in common (Austria&Hungarian Monarchy... ;) )

    Greetings from Bec,

    Mark

OK let's switch back to English :) We do have blood sausage too but it's not made with bread...at least not here, they might do them differently on the western part of Hungary though, donno anything about that.

  • @MrMawie89 Neighbors :) Nice to meet you Mark :)

  • @xxxAngelikaxxx Wow, that's interesting :) YouTube gives me great opportunities to meet friends all around the world! You're coming to Korea! Contact me, when you're coming :)

  • OK, will do! :)

  • MAGGEOLLI! Havent tried soondae though.

  • @TatieMimosa MAGGEOLLI is amazing, not strong, but you get drunk with happiness :)

  • @liza183 Oh I am well aware. Love me some Maggeolli. Ive heard of sweet potatoe maggeoli. Is it good?

  • @TatieMimosa I've never tried before, but sounds great !

  • I love soondae! O_O mouth watering.....

  • I ate it before!! When I didn't know what it was I ate it.. But it wasn't a REALLY nice taste... Just.. okay. So I won't eat it again if there's better things to eat ^^

  • @dansingai Maybe I guess it's not for foreigners. I love it a lot though. Try 막걸리(Korean Rice Wine) with some 해물파전(Seafood Pancake?) next time. That will be great :)

I really love Korean food, but not sundae because of its uncomfortable texture.

  • @reallywally :) Some koreans don't like soondae either! Thanks for watching my video.

  • Oh.. you made me so hungry.
