  • @anoldmage Because what's really happening is the oil acts as a heat sink. The oil maximizes the surface area that can be used, so it's more effective than any heatsink.

  • why have the psu in the tank if you are cooling the cpu ? seems like you are adding extra heat.

  • not really. it does absorb the heat but temps still don't drop as much as you would hope.
