today is a week since i had a sinus cleaning (removing polyps and other gunk), had a septoplasty and an adenoidectomy. how long after were you feeling fine?
I am 3 days post op on mine. Black blood backing up and its going down my throat. yucky. I have the plastic stent in which really is annoying. Stent comes out on the 8th. I cant wait.
I'm sure this question has been asked&answered, but: I had a deviated septum corrected and nasal polyps removed 2 weeks ago exactly in my nose. I'm already noticing better breathing but I'm hoping it will get a ton better. How long did it take you to 'fully' recover? Any feedback would be great!
O whoa =[ thats like A LOT. Thank u so much for tellin ur experience. I think I might be needing surgery... I just met with an E.N.T. doctor (my allegist refered me to him) too but he gave me steroids (apo pnenodid) for now and referred me to get an scan on my sinus area...I hope its noot soo severe..I just hope that I can put this nasal blockage thing behind...
i have somthing in my nasal canal that will not leave, i have tried every nasal spray known to man. it's still not showing any reuslts, man i am goint to book an opointment to get it removed because i truly do think that it is those infectoins that you are revering to.
I had the same procedure done also, but on top of having polyps removed, they broke my nose and straightened it, and took my tonsils out all the same day. The sinus surgury didn't hurt, except when they removed the packing. OMG (very painful) The only thing that really hurt was my throat. That was very painful. I couldn't hardly wait until it was time to take another pain pill. Lol I'm just glad that is over with.
Thanks Nece. I needed to see this since I am going in for sinus surger in two weeks. Dr. Laureano I heard from a friend, an anethesiologist, is highly recommended. That made me feel very comfortable. Your nose looks great. . . and one day after. I am just looking forward to breathing well again. Thanks for your thoughtfulness in getting this out there, not just for the web, but for family. . . probably a number of us have similar problems, and good for all of us stay in touch.

Just had the packing removed today. I also had the fess+ septo. By far the worst experience to date was tacking out the packing

@newsakafias Exactly that, I am scared OF the anasthetic, if they goof up. I know it sounds silly but it scares me. =(

I had the same procedure done in 08. The worst part was removing the nasal packing.
