  • @SJURedmenFan I was at this game as well

  • Lil' Hoo!

  • Hoos were 5-7 in '01...

  • wouldn't we all

  • Ga Tech came in with the most prolific offense in the nation that year. Virginia, struggling to find a QB, was rotating a young Schaub with Bryson Spinner. 39-38 was the final, after a successful hook and lateral on the 2nd attempt at the same play.

  • probably the best game ive ever been to

  • definantly was one of the better games in Virginia football history. I would put it in my top 5

  • #1 being fsu(05 or 95) ??

  • 95 deffinitely

  • One of the two or three best UVA games I've been to. Nowhere near as exciting as FSU '95.

Much more exciting than Wyoming '07

  • Great video! You have to give George Welsh a lot of credit for building UVA into a contender and giving the program swagger. Don't forget that these are his players! I miss those days. Al Groh isn't doing so well. I have a suggestion for UVA fans. Go to the coacheshotseat website, click on the "Coaches Ready To Move Up", and it will give you a list of all the coaches who appear to be ready to head to a big-time program. Let me know if there are any you would like to see at UVA!

  • ready to take that back about coach Groh?

  • Absolutely! UVA and Groh surprised everyone in 2007, and they appear to be ready for another good season in 2008.

  • wow, I would just like to say that is the fastest response EVER! But, I just heard that Sewell got kicked off the team for being found with drugs. NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Oh well, at least we still have Chris Lo- NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

  • Yeah! I like to respond quickly. Do you go to UVA?

  • Oh, I wish. I lived in C-ville for about 8 years, through most of my childhood, then moved to America's armpit, AKA southern california during my junior year in high school. My mom did graduate there, though, with a Ph.D in history.

  • My dad went to UVA!

  • not with that qb that looks like a nerd

  • Man, the Musgrave(sp?) days were amazing for Virginia!!

Im a Yellow Jacket fan, and I have to admit Ive never seen such a talented football program maintain its lackluster, mediocre ways. If we had UVa's talent, we would have BCS hopes ever January!

  • I was one of many that rushed the field after that game

  • me too, I'm still in shock that play actually worked haha!

  • ah the hook and ladder, that was a good one

  • kick ass

  • GO 'HOOS!
