THE most disappointing boss battle in the entire game besides Deathwing. They are all easy, but the rest were at least interesting. I was all >:-{ when I beat this guy.

In my opinion, this whole game wasn't up to par when you compare bosses to those in other castlevania games. However, it was so beautiful that I didn't mind having a more easygoing Castlevania game so you could appreciate the other aspects of the game more.

@RavingNova I agree with you 100%. Don't get me wrong I do love this game. So much, but I don't think it's the best one. I never did. For me this game is superior in terms of it's music and it's intricate artistry. It is my favorite among the Metroidvania games. But gameplay wise, I'm old school. I have to go with Super Castlevania.

Do you know the heaven sword x2 Special attack?

Can be done by having 2 heaven swords (One in each hand) And pressing both attack buttons at the same time.

I love the cross sub. I don't know what it does in this game, but in CotM it is the best. I killed a rather strong boss in a couple seconds with it. :D In CotM it a boomerang, which can hit multiple times at right length, and deals most damage of all subweapons. In CotM, it stronger than my attack. Any way, since you don't like it I asume for a good reason. What do they do in SotN?

In this game, the cross kind of does a wind-y twirl around Alucard and then lets out a blanket of white that covers the whole screen and does damage. Though it's got range, it costs 80+ hearts to use each time, so in itself it is like an item crush attack. Even with the staurolite, I fail to find it useful.

So unfortunate that it's not the usual boomerang in this game! :[

Oh lol, I don't know why I was expecting you to say the Schmoos dropped it since I had read they dropped something I didnt remember xD And the only thing I payed attention to when you talked about the schmoos was "The schmoos also drop a really good item so it's worth the time" and the something like "ok but after this im gonna show you where the crissaegrim is..." Okay I'm messed up I know xD

Love the sword. :P And funny enough, the exact same enemy drops it in POR. I can even remember where it is -- right to the left of Legion. Rofl.
