ok, I work in studio too, and play guitar for 10+ years, but, in my opinion you can't remix (to sound good) song like this, coz you have only 1 file (mp3,waw...), you dont have all tracks they record seperately ect... so lets say if you wanna add flanger on some drum part, you can't , you can add it on whole song, and by that way your way to limited to do anything special or interesting

I did this remix freely with a sound editing program I downloaded off of the internet. And I did have every seperate track (vocals, guitar, bass, effects, etc). Bu tI just have to say, I disagree with what you are saying. The limit is within the person's skill range. No offense.
