Great, man, really. My favourite Bach is by Guillou, but this I love very much as well, it has a lot of movement and joy in itself. The organ is perfect. When do you post some Reger, I have your CD and that's the best interpretation ever. Vielen Dank.
Thank you for this wonderful version, there is also the one of Pierre Cochereau which is fantastic, but I can't find anymore. But it is pretty close to this one!
Accordian! Wow, a very interesting piece to be playing on accordian, I will be very intrigued to hear that! Could you post me a comment or email when you have uploaded that, I would love to see!
I will not be impressed if someone plays this masterpiece in...banjo. However, I think that these experiments are usually distractive. We can consider them only as EXPERIMENTS. OK, I'm looking forward for your version.
Talking about Bach in accordion: years ago, a russian friend played in concert Bach's prelude and fughe in c major. It was a BIG accordion.
It was AMAZING. I will never forget. It was at the beggining of the concert and when he finished the fughe, the public stands up to making an ovation.
Of course it was not an organ, but great music in hands of a TRUE artist is always something special, even if it was not organ.

Maravilloso, el interprete vino a mi ciudad de residencia a ofrecer un recital y ahora lo encuentro en you tube.

Where can I get the Cochereau version on CD, I have it on a LP only. It would be lovely if it could be uploaded to this site.
