Does anyone know if there is an idiot's guide to adjusting rims? This is one of those jobs I just can't get right when I try myself. Many thanks.

ahh, take my advice, stay away from alexrims. i had one taco at speed from a manhole cover... they are just not strong enough for anything with load.

I don't know why he does what he does, but he's built at least four wheels for me and I've never had a minute's problem with any of them.

Why don't you count the rotations of the nipples to avoid inducing any hop in the first place?
