Can fight anybody, play on the PK, and put the puck in the net, in '09-'10 season Rupp had 13 goals. That's great production from a bottom 6 forward.

@slugger1983 i respect rupp but lets take it back a knotch, carcillo put up 13 goals in just 57 games as a rookie but has struggled with playing time and hasnt been able to really show his skill, in 2010 he only had 2 goals at the half way mark but they moved him up to play with richards and gagne and he lead the team in goals for the last 2 months of the season with 10 goals and then 2 big goals in the 1st round that year before getting hurt, there r more than 6 grinders in the league also ...

Great fight by Rupp. I think people underestimate the tough grittyness of the Penguins becuase they can't really look past Crosby and Malkin. And obviously matt cooke for his dirty hits. But they are tough much like Boston. and I know Thorton is a guy to drop gloves and stand his ground. It was a great game. Best of luck this year Bruins!

Man a team in Houston would suck I think. Dallas' attendance is horrible already and if they can't resign Brad Richards it'll get even worse. Buttman has also been talking for some time about expanding to Las Vegas which says to me he hasn't learned. Teams that do well in the U.S. at least know what snow is, Detroit. New York, Minnesota, Boston, Philly etc. but the only time Tampa, Nashville, Florida see ice is when they're stirring it in their drinks. Las Vegas sounds like a stunt.

There's no reason why it can't happen. We've already seen several example of American cities that had a franchise, lost them then got them back again (Atlanta, Minnesota). When it happens is another story as you say.
