My family was unfairly moved away from the city by the soviets.I 'm very interested in old Polish heritage, all what I did was, I just analyse your video. But their blood was and will always stay Ukrainian. Lviv is amazing city, the best in whole Ukraine and it was founded more then 750 years ago, but UKRAINIAN and the fact of polish occupation and ruling DOESN’T MAKE IT POLISH!
But it seems like polish people are so desparate about that city like they have nothing decent back home, though I would argue, because what I have seen in Poland impressed me a lot.

Это далеко не так просто!В Калининграде или в том же Эльзасе население тоже по немецки давно не говорит.А вот ещё в начале 20 века в Лемберге поляки составляли более 50% населения.

600 years of polish occupation, colonization and polonization did not make Lviv Polish. Subtract 200 years, because Poland did not even exist for 200 years. Poland really belongs to Russia, Germany and Austria because it was at one time partitioned by those countries? Some poles think that if they named all the streets in Galicia in Polish and put up a statue of Mickiewicz in every town, then it is all Polish! That's how stupid some Poles are.

Lviv was a Polish city - you can't neglect facts.
Now it is fully Ukrainian city - we (poles) can't neglect this fact too.
No one in Poland think serious about taking Lviv back to poland (except some retarded kids or little funny quasi-nazi shitheads, but this are small small minority).
I hope that Lviv someday will become a city within Polish-Ukrainian-Belarusian-Lithuanian-Czech-Slovak Federation of free and equal people. But its just a my dream.

I do understand that Ukrainians do not agree with polish history so not all Poles agree with what Ukraininas say- my point is that we no more care who L'viv belongs to- most important is its wellfare and dialog between both nations, We -Poles concider Ukrainians as closest brothers, not Russians nor Czech and all we want is to live in unity and peace with our great neighbour despite of interpretations of history because history will always say different thing depending on person speaking out!

600 years of polish occupation, colonization and polonization did not make Lviv Polish. Subtract 200 years, because Poland did not even exist for 200 years. Poland really belongs to Russia, Germany and Austria because it was at one time partitioned by those countries? Some poles think that if they named all the streets in Galicia in Polish and put up a statue of Mickiewicz in every town, then it is all Polish! That's how stupid some Poles are.

Lviv was foundated by Earl Danylo in 1356 and called so devoted to his son Lev. Lviv has been the center on Galycko-Volynska country and Danylo was crowned and become the King

Polish statistics are exaggerated and distorted, because Poland wrote the history of Polish-Ukrainian relations. Those are not true facts. They always try to make Poland look bigger and more important than it really was. Lviv was Austro-Hungarian in spirit, not Polish.

Polacy (prawo krwi)to głównie było ziemiaństwo,czy mieszczaństwo(szlachta potraciła wszystko i pojechała do miasta z resztą majątku, kupiła sobie kamienicę), albo i bez tracenia. Zależy w którym wieku. Potomkowie też mają prawo do obywatelstwa. Znam kilka osób, którzy takowe dostali z powodu polskiego obywatelstwa jednego z dziadków.
