No matter how many times I watch this video it brings tears to my eyes. My boyfriend was not suppose to leave for Afghanistan until June, but they rushed to send his unit earlier than expected so we didn't get the time in that we were expecting. However, I'm so grateful for the time that we did get to spend together before deployment. It's definitely hard when he's gone and theres not a night that goes by when I don't miss his kisses & adorable snore. God bless us all & bring them home safely.
This is really sweet. I cried when I watched it. My Marine and my relationship hasn't been the easiest. We've been together for 2 years and i was able to see him for only about 2 days in the past year since June 2010 when he left for basic. I won't be able to see him until December of this year when he comes home from deployment, so this video really is my prayer. i watched this a few hours ago and i thought it was beautiful, then Obama announced the deployment of 30,000 more troops and my bf called me to tell me his base and shop have been scheduled for 3 upcoming deployments that he may very likely be part of, i watched it again and recited it and cried.

wow... its late at night and my marine is over in afghanistan right now he was deployed before Obama sent out the 30,000 im on week 9 right now of my first deployment and i really needed this video thank you so much for posting it.. sometimes a good cry is all i need

i watched this a few hours ago and i thought it was beautiful, then Obama announced the deployment of 30,000 more troops and my bf called me to tell me his base and shop have been scheduled for 3 upcoming deployments that he may very likely be part of, i watched it again and recited it and cried.

I've been about to break and this video finally did it. I just cried, but I actually feel a little better now. I have no right to complain right now, my life is almost perfect compared to what our men deal with everyday. But its still really hard for me right now. I just want the next 2 days to be over with!

who ever made this thank you. it made me cry but it is so comforting to know that so many women are going through the same thing i am. i miss him so much sometimes it's hard to get out of bed. we have to stay strong for them. you ladies and your marines are in my prayers. SEMPER FI!!!!

This brought tears to my eyes. My boyfriend is getting ready to head to basic and we are eloping before he leaves...I can tell you that not many have been supportive of our military relationship...they just dont understand that true love can survive anything...distance; time and more. I pray for all our Marines! God Bless

I love this Marine Girlfriend Prayer. I've seen it a few other times on other videos, and it's exactly how my prayer is to my Savior because God knows how much I truly love him and how much I miss him.
Trusting in God always, and remaining faithful to my marine because its not an easy job to be away from your loved ones.
