So glad I found this on Amazon for $39 used. Looks amaazing for not being an iPod... Not trolling, but I had a hard time with non-apple MP3 players. This looks promising though.
hey @geeksTV ....i have this mp3 but....i have a big problem with this......here ...when i turn on my mp3 this just stays for 10 minutes or lower ....what is th problem that makes my mp3 not workin ....but i try to charge like for 3 hours ...the problem is the battery or what plese help me....thank u so much

I have this Insignia Pilot and I really like it. Best bluetooth player for me. I use it for musc, Audible and videos. I use the video conversion software included w/ the unit to convert my movies on my computer. I have watched movies on this w/o a problem. Only problem I have is the unit freezes up on some of my music files, so I have to reset this player a lot. it can read SDHC cards. Love the scroll wheel. Unfortunately, they don't sell these at Best Buy anymore.
@indigofire1o9 The Insignia Pilot comes with ArcSoft Media Converter 2 to convert videos into the correct format. Use that software to convert it to a format that plays on the Pilot, then put it on a SD card or the main memory.
I have had this for about a year coming up on 2 but I'm having multiple problems. When I charge it I have to push the battery so that it will charge instead of draining it. ANother problem is that it will sometimes delete all the songs itself or stgore all the songs,albums,artist under unknown.
the only problom with mine is that sometimes it will make a song corrupted and when i play the corrupted file the player will freeze up and it won't turn off.then ill hook it up to one of my pcs and remove the song
@Robloxian182 I have the same problem. My Insignia Pilot will freeze up on some of my music files so I have to reset my player a lot. If I just let it play my music, eventually it comes to a file it doesn't like and freezes on me. However all of my music plays fine on my other MP4 player.
@kupigana unfortunally the insignia is my only *working* mp3 & mp4 player. my other mp3 (no mp4) wich is a zen stone is broken.it plays songs like BUODFBFJBFBHBHJBEHBEBEBJKEBJKEBHJDVOVBHIWJN. seriously. not tryin to spam.
@indigofire1o9 If it ever freezes, you just hold the power switch to the right until it shuts off. If you slide the power switch to the right and hold it for 10 seconds, it should restart.
I'm having a problem here my Insignia Pilot will not recharge what am I supposed to do what's wrong with it I'm seriously about to slam it against the wall
Got one 8GB and added a 4GB card you can rip movies down to it a full 2 hour movie is about 500mb once saved to its 320x240 format 30fps.
I really like that format for tunes is not proprietary and you can very easily swap files with friends, and I also use it to bring files from Cad programs home too !
Paid about 70.00 for 8GB on Ebay.
Get Insignia Headphones too for about 20.00 and player up to 35 feet away and walk around office and get clear very nice toon's for up to 25 hour playback.
Oh I forgot to mention, there is an 8GB version of the Pilot out there. Pilot's are no longer sold at Best Buy, so you have to get them used on eBay, but you can get an 8GB used for under $70 now days. I paid $160 for mine.... :)
You failed to mention that it comes in a 4gig and 8gig model. You say it comes in a 4gig making it sound like thats all there is when in fact it can come in an 8gig and you can add another 8gig sdcard and have a 16 gb player.
I got only a couple hundred songs in this thing, but when I'm in the Library, I want it to play all the songs by artist, album or genre, but when I want it to start with a specific artist, album, or genre, it wont. All it does is play ALL of them starting with the first top of the list, anything to do about it or I'm stuck?
