I love GS 1 the most, as well as GS 2, and could replay them over and over and over and over again. I'll never sell them, never rid them. And if they came to 3DS VC, heck, I'd buy'm all over again.
GS4 should go back to the GS/GS2 feel, and just go all out with the SNES style (HDSNES style if they wanted a Wii U spin; 3D, 3DS, respectively)

I honestly believe, that this theme song was created with the purpose, of driving you (issac) a budding adept, with a hard pressed quest to complete, On to finish your mission. This song just screams : "Go out into the world, bravely, couragously, and do not fear! The elements will always be your guide!" : ...well that's what I hear, when I listen this..it just Inspires you to keep moving on, through the encounters and such. Perfect theme in my opinion for the overworld.
This reminds me of a place I used to live at. It was filled with trees, in the spring the fields were covered in flowers, blue, yellow and pink. The clouds rolled on the hills as though cotton candy dragged by the wind. And the sky was blue, with the wind fresh with a scent of earth.
Truly a magnificent place...perhaps I will return to it again some day..
I love all of the GS music, and this theme is very good too. I think the overworld music you get after you have the flying ship in GS:LA is slightly better though.
Sometimes, I just let the game (or emulator rather) run when I am on the internet. I once recorded the sound, and just played the .WAV. I love this theme THAT much to warrant a recording. ROFL
