  • sounds like michael jackson

  • actually, it sounds like Inverse. comparing rapping styles is like comparing skateboard designs. you'd have to make shit up in order to find connections between them besides their genre' (design)

  • it sounds like Eminem

  • It's songs like this that make hip-hop live on

  • how have i never heard this before!! I fucking love it!

  • Whoaaa, no heard this in ages! Brought a smile to my face remembering this lol

  • 0 dislikes. Nice.

  • @whoissexynow

wow. why on earth did you say that? every video i go to that has somebody saying "0 dislikes" always ends up getting some after wards. its better not to say anything. just leave it alone. ive gone to some videos that have zero dislikes and stays that way because no one opens their mouth. dont forget that there are people out there that enjoy messing things up for others.

  • Inverse is one of the realest people ever!

    Striaght rapin' doin' work.

  • @TheRealist its the flow mann its smooth. it is like Pac

  • legit like bar.DOPE SONG!

  • inverse is sickkk, love the soul

  • wow..amazing.

  • you dont know how much i love this song

  • 0 hates! Good I dont see how any one can hate this.

  • This song gets me going every morning. Thank you inverse.

  • The first guy that is.... Especially his first line lol thats like right outta pac's mouth

  • indeed!

  • This ish can reach my bones!

  • The entire EP was worth every penny on iTunes. This and beautiful city are by far my favorite songs. I never thought I would find rap of this caliber. Nujabes, Cradle Orchestra and the likes are all excellent examples of how hiphop can be beautiful and thoughtful. I encourage people to branch out beyond mainstream to find true quality within hiphop.

  • pure illin.

  • pure illin.

  • This is that motivational hip hop!!! I'm lovin it!!!!!!!

  • @24NerF drake is better than this? in what sense? drake has more money, he has more hoes, he has more fame? sure if thats the criteria than he's better, but these guys have got soul and their music is proof of that.

  • @2Feet1Wheel naw i was just kiding, drake is dipshit!!

  • @24NerF you're perpetuating the mainstream media stereotype - it's the people who support the crappy artists/rappers that I hate - not the artists themselves (they're just trying to make money, I can't hate on them for that - maybe if the media's taste in subject matter changed the artists would change their subject matter - by rapping about this type of shit it's a guarantee for wealth unfortunately) - it's the people who like that 'hoes, guns, money' content that I dislike - people like you!

  • One of my favorite tunes ever.

No easy feat, let me tell you that much.

  • Inverse is amazing. I'm glad I've accidentally came across them a year ago!!

  • notice how there is no parental advisory on the album cover, it just proves that you don't have to rhyme about drugs, killing and disrespecting women to make good music

this should be on the radio it has a better message than all that mainstream bullshit

  • @marco64499 100% agrees with that. This is good music right here.

  • scratch that last comment - it's totally Tunji

  • who's on the first verse? i can never tell whether its toby or tunji lol

  • @WalkerOfMyles tunji

  • True hip hop story.

  • voice and flow reminds me of mos def somehow

  • When are they coming out with another album??

the EP was sick but i want some more:P

  • @100dollars01 they have a street cd (thats what kno calls it) called So Far. its all original and you can either buy it on amazon or get it free from qn5

  • @DJMastaTech

    its called a mixtape

  • @itzFundamental kno from cunnilyngiust called it a street album

  • These Dudes are nice

  • this song is so real I dig Inverse I think as far as conscious hiphop they are at the top

  • second one sounds lik lupe fiasco :)

  • This is a GREAT album.. you guys rap with hart..!

    Respect!

    Greetz.. from Amsterdam..

  • This track is fire!

  • hey there

  • EVERYBODY:

Buy this album...It is WORTH it!!

  • I actually love this!

  • How in the heck does it remind you of Pac? Their flows are way different in terms of flow, rhyme schemes, and delivery..

  • Listen to it again, the speech pattern during one of the verses is similar - not the message or lyrics, but the delivery......

I don't care if you don't agree, It's just an opinion and I'm not knocking you for yours - and other people have agreed with mine, so It's not just me ; )

But this song is fucking amazing.

  • It's the motivational stanzas and lines that get to people. When it comes to everything else, you can see a lotta differences but the lyric purpose is quite similar.

  • if anything it reminds me more of atmosphere or that type sound etc. dope song!

  • @TheRealist

People who don't understand hip-hop will compare anything good to Pac. :/

  • @sablesoul Thats true!

  • @iTony5000 Word!

  • @TheRealist wellll i see how it would remind someone of tupac. i mean obviously they're totally different but this specific song has that peaceful kind of inspirational gospel like beat kind of like how tupac did in a lot of his songs. i'd say similar flow. i even heard a few similar lines. "if i die tonight"

  • @TheRealist Their rhyme schemes and flow aren't too different, but as for inverse's delivery its astronomically different. just imagine pac on this track it might just work.

  • @LargeMcChickenMeal ..But they are. 'Pac doesn't use multies like Tunji does; his verses are built with them and his flow isn't as commanding/preacher sounding as 'Pac's. Maybe if anything the deliveries are SLIGHTLY similar but I still don't see 'Pac in him nor on this song. And don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing anyone, because I'm as big a fan as 'Pac as anyone.

  • @TheRealist good to know ^^

  • @LargeMcChickenMeal Good to know you don't know the difference between flow and rhyme schemes?

  • @LargeMcChickenMeal Good to know you don't know the difference between flow and rhyme schemes?

  • @TheRealist Thats obviously not what I meant but I see where your going with it so don't worry...

  • @LargeMcChickenMeal It really wasn't that obvious if that's not what you meant, it's the internet man come on. If you meant no hard feelings then I misinterpreted it and I apologize i came off as condescending.

Good music is good music, it's all love in Hip Hop man.

  • @TheRealist lol yeah the internet gets like that hahaha all good

  • @TheRealist probably cuz he starts with "if i die tonite" that was my first thought too, but other than that the styles are very different

  • @TheRealist But they have a similar message..

  • the first verse reminds me of Tupac's verse on the song Changes. incredible stuff here, fresh, dope, inspiring lyrics, and beats. this EP is EPic!!!

  • Listen to "goodnight goodnight" , i've been reminded of Tupac when listening to that song as well.

  • This EP is epic, being the fact that it was a free download.

  • insaaaneee

great song... good job cook classics

  • Inverse is real hip hop music.

  • I love this song, and inverse seems chill as hell, just started listening to them. But if CunninLynguists like em, they are okay in my book!

  • this track is crazy tight, inspirational

  • this ep is absolutely epic

  • i love the little bit paul dateh did at the end.

  • one of the best ep ever

  • Yeah Inverse you did your thing on here.the whole EP was amazing.I love this song right here.nothing but love fam

    -Paint The Sky,Blew!!
