  • Yeah Yeah, me too, but I don't brag about it.

How many books have you published in Japanese?

How many lives have you saved? How have you changed the world? Are you a legend in your industry?

I could go on and on but that's not what this is about

  • When I attempted to get the carriage that was sticking out and blocking the roadway and my path of travel on a bicycle, you came over and called me a psycho.

It wasn't your carriage, why did you interfere with my attempt to clear the roadway? It seems you have a disrespect for the law.

The horse took a couple of steps with the driver on the running board and the driver almost went flying.

You made a video, post it.

  • I've had a rather illustrious career while you were going around in circles, stuck in a rut.

Look in the roadway and see what you have done to it and the horses.

You time is over! No More Horse Hell!

  • Good reasons orjust your opinions? This proves how unreasonable you are to me and the horses as well.

I've asked you where you thought I was untruthful and you ignore the question. I ask you to obey the law and you call me psycho.

You're only hurting your own case. You have no arguement so you resort to name calling.

  • So why did you ban me from commenting on your channel and then leave a comment on mine?

Your time is over face it.

  • That's a revealing comment right there, you're a regular fountain of info. Good thing there's nobody to tell you to shut up.

I'll take it under advisement that the mayor meets with you monthly. I wonder of he does the same for the other side?

  • Doctor as well as driver. Very talented

  • Retired

  • IRS only

  • I'm just the cameraman and retired from it. I can show you numerous stories in the paper where arreste were made because of info I dug up.

Because people like you don't take me seriuosly, they tip their hand.

In one case I was angered to read in the NY Times "The US Att, fresh from his victory in the Alstair Duncan case" because I only got $75 and a gang of grave robbers after me

I cut them off from $12 million a year.

    Laugh all you want.

  • Rememeber you not only started this by your comments on my video. I didn't even know who you were but in 24 hours time I sure was atacked often and hard.

Rememeber you told me to take my best shot and I will. You don't know what you have stepped into as I am used to dealing with rougue FBI and foriegn gangsters.

This will be to easy. The path seems to lead right to His Higness Bloombergs' door. He needs to go along with the poor horses.

    Tell him I said so.

  • What false claim? That you do a cash busness and don't give areceipt? Where is that a false claim?

If that farm is real they will take a look at how it was bought but I see no evidence it exists

With complaints of overcharging common, there is real basis for an investigation. I'm sure the drivers overcharge and then report it.

Remember you came up to me, I was just filming so you seem the psycho. The cops admitting they are there for the homelless and the pedicabs and not you was revealing

  • That wheel was sticking out in the slim lane I ride my bike in and when asked to move I was called all kinds of names.

That's not the city's fault you don't obey the law.

Parking my bike on the sidewalk is not ilegal, only to ride it. Your horse was on the sidewalk as well.

  • I got you guys admitting you don't give receipts. You were creating a hazardous condition, not moving out of the lane of traffic when asked.

The cops admitting they don't go after the carriages for dangerous traffic violations while enforcing the law against the peidicabs.

You've opened up the mayor, lobyists and the carriage trade to lawsuits and an IRS investigation, all in 5 minutes.

Did you call me a psycho?

    Imagine if I was trying......

  • "They are vet checked and checked by the aspca EVERY damn day."

How can that be when the ASPCA says nthey don't have the manpower?

  • I know Roger. I did not mean to imply that the horse in the video is Roger, only that I saw them recently ...and guess what? Roger looked awful. Ian was yakking on the cell phone, as usual.

  • Tony Avella was not even on the list of mayoral candidates in the Post today?!?

    Comments?!?

  • Broken soul? He's tossing his collar, looking around, and eating fairly enthusiastically even though he doesn't look like he's missed too many meals. He looks like a normal, happy, working horse to me. I agree that many of the NYC horses are broken down and need retirement, but this is not one of them.

  • Pity doesnt know any of us or our horses personally. Your pathetic attempts to make us look like animal abusers will come back to bite you in the ass. Anyone who walks by our horses can see that they are well fed (some boardering on fat), well cared for, and loved. Saying otherwise wont make it true.

  • Please. You dont have a clue. Our horses are loved and very well cared for. Broken souls? Dont make me laugh. My horses are very happy. And yes, we all have at least two horses. They are rotated throughout the yr to farms. Maybe you should do more research into the subject first, instead of opening your mouth about something you obviuosly know noting about.

  • Well said! And all true. I can attest to that from personal experience.

  • @banknownothings Truefully being a horse owner myself I think the horses much rather do this then being stuck in a stall all day like other performance horses.

  • A valuable horse like this receives tremendous care and the owner is unlikely to push him past his limits of fitness and patience. Unlike grass, most feeds won't clump up around a bit, so it really isn't a big deal. Horses are made to eat almost non-stop, so I'm glad to see him getting a snack while working. It's better than feeding them two big meals.

  • All the people I know who own carriage horses treat them like members of the family. They all have had the experience of stying up all night with a sick animal. The pepople who hand out literature on the streets accusing carriage drivers of abusing the animals are simply slandering decent people. Yes, the horse in the video may have had a long day, but I can state without reservation that it was well acred for.

  • emmfc: How many families do you know would take their kid to an auction to be sold for slave labor or slaughter export? Not all drivers care about horses. Many of them do it for the money & because do not have other skills. Some of them actually dislike horses and know very little about them. No experience necessary for this job.

  • Horses and other animals are not kids. End of story. And I don't know about New York, but the city I drive in tests its drivers annually and it involves extensive line time with NO profits in order to be trained and set lose to work. It's not about the money for me, its about educating people about my four-legged co-worker and the city we drive in.

  • Poor guy.. He looks tired!

  • I agree. I shot this at about midnight and who knows how long the animal spent on the streets. I understand that the City places limits on the hours, but we also have speed limits and laws against bank robbery - but they do get broken, yes?

  • emmfc: Some of these horses are out all day & still in Times Square at 2:00 a.m. The laws are not obeyed by many of these drivers. Since no one can effectively monitor them, they get away with violating the law on a daily basis. No one is checking their trip cards 24/7 & they should be!

  • Believe me He is tired and soon will be dead. They have very short life span in this industry

  • y the fuck is that horse eating with a bit in its mouth?

  • Because he's hungry? LOL

  • Imagine how uncomfortable it is, wearing a bit and blinders and harness while eating!

  • It's not uncomfortable, dork - the bit is in a spot where there are no teeth, horses can eat just fine with it.

  • I know where the bit is and that doesn't mean you can call people dork because not all of them know about horses. I can imagine wearing a bit, and eating, it is uncomfortable. If it wasn't, they won't be chewing and trying to spit it. I also work with horses, you know.

  • Tush- I didn't see that this was you, sorry for calling you a dork :-) The bit is not the least bit bothersome to the horse, I have worked with horses for over 20 years, trust me they can eat with no problem. While the horse is working, he wants to eat, and it's unsafe to take the bridle off while he's hooked to a vehicle.
