In the South, we called them "Supper Clubs" What Memories. We'd ge dressed up in our full skirts, net peticoats, capazzio flats and dance the night away. Stay Young, Stay Foolish. Perfect time to "grow up"
Having been to Cuba several years ago, I can just imagine this being played with the men in their white dinner jackets, and the woman with their beehive hair dressed to the nines. What a classic.
I have never been able to make up my mind which rendition was best of this song, Xavier Cugat's or Perez Prado's....they are both great. thanks for posting this.
@olga2415 It,s obvious that the best interpretation is The Perez Prado Orchestra where excels the trumpet of Isidro "chilo" Moran a magnificent mexican trumpetist of the same or better quality than the greatest of the world such as Arturo Sandobal
i was 7 and remember watching a movie where a guy is singing this song while trying to enticea women...does anybody remember the name of the movie?

@MrCaifanero It's entirely a matter of personal taste. I like chocolate but do also enjoy lemonade and apricots.
