If this story is true I would have to believe him older then the times of Christ. If throwing a show at Jesus was all it took to provoke this kinda curse why did so many others who did worse not get these punishments. Also if the legend is true I believe it to have something to do with Cain. For Cain was born different then all of the other children of Adam and Eve! and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. the rest were bared sons of god in Ada image!

"Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." Otherwise, His life, His ministry and His death and resurrection make no sense. He also said, "Salvation is from the Jews." Peace be with you.
I truly did feel sometimes that few Jews have a certain emanation, which is around them. I don't think of the modern jews, i think of those who is from the original, middle-eastern bloodline.

Maybe he can be that but according to the story his name was Cartaphilus, it is just obviously a latinized name.His real name is not known yet.
