Hey, his 60ft could have been .75 if not for the aero drag from the roof rack, hahahahaha I think this wagon is great. I agree 100% with zachlutes, 4matic doesn't get it AT ALL. Is this wagon ugly? You bet, it's ugly, huge and made for senior citizens, but that makes it all the more amazing at the drag strip. You see 4matic, nobody cares about yuppie snob wagons. What is the fun in those?

actually thats not true at all, many midsize station wagons offer 3rd row seats and just as much luggage capacity as SUVs. The only things SUVs have that station wagons dont is better towing and off-road capability

yeah thats true. My friend infiniti FX45 got stick in the Hunter Mt ski resort parking lot cuz there was too much snow, dirt, and mud and that car had AWD. Also the Subaru Outback and Volvo XC70 are known for being awesome off-road cuz of their raised suspensions and light-weight

I got a 1994 caprice wagon that I am presently doing up. She got a 454 bored .30 over, TH400, 3.73 rearend, stage 2 shift kit and I am hoping it will eventually do high 9's. I love seeing full size wagons drag

The only difference between the stock Caprice LT1 and the Vette LT1 i 30 horsies! You can purchase the performance chip and out perform the Vette motor. I did and still got 18mpg around town with a 9 passenger vehicle! Try doin that with some SUV Navigator!

Stationwagons!..They're big and slow and stop on dime, right?..More often than not,wagons came with high horsepower engines and tough transmissions,just to make them go.Other times,they came with that stuff,just to do this sort of thing.Mid-70's Mopar wagons(Aspen/Volare)with the 318 or 360 can surprise a few,from time to time as well.
