  • too fucking intense.....

  • ah, is this the alpental next to snoqualmie?!

if so, that looks a lot different than what i'm used to in the winter...

i really want a longboard after watching this vid... i'm a skier... but damn that looks fun...

any experience with the quadline boards?

they look a little different, i duno if there's a good or bad reason for that...

  • NO

    DO NOT get that lol.

And yes it's right next to snoqualmie. Wasnt there the day it was filmed though...

If you want a longboard and go for cheap, then a Sector9 will do as a first board...

If you have slighlty more money, Landyachtz, Kebbek, Rayne are making very good quality boards.

Or build it yourself, harder but sometimes real nice :)

  • You guys are awesome. I have ridden roads in this area but never so fast for so long....sickness. Is this near the Denny Creek campground or farther westward down the pass?

  • this is denny cr. rd. most of the footy is above the campground.

  • I thought i'd been down some of those turns.

This vid makes me wanna get some leathers and a full face helmet and go back there.

I have never bailed going 50+mph before. Do the leathers help a lot?

  • yes, the leathers help alot to save skin, even when you ride a lot you still find yourself sliding on the pavement from time to time. mostly without consequence, other than scraped up leathers.

  • i also ride longboards, but never so fast for so long time (mountinboard) what kind of gears do u use? I thought i saw the zigzaws wheels, can that be right? are ypur longboards stiff and are u using ordinary randals 150mm trucks? thx and awesome riding!

  • we ride a variety of boards, personal preferance. I race with a Landyactz carbon evo, with Jim Z speed hangers and love the gumballs in 76a, but Randle DH trucks work very well for going fast. And a stiff deck is usually best.

  • How do you ensure no cars are coming the other way?

Do you guys ever get to Kitsap Peninsula (maybe Hurricane Ridge)?

I'd love to meet mountainboarders who ride between Gig Harbor and Bremerton (My sone & I are just beginning).

  • Son... I meant my son. 10 yr old, progressing well on the mountainboard.

BTW, I like the sound track.

  • the road is narrow so you have to take caution around the turns. fortunately there is only one turn where you can't really watch for traffic coming up so i try to take the turn a litte wider. haven't been up to the hurricane ridge area, don't know if anyone else in our group has, i'll have to ask around, sounds interesting.

  • thats fuckin gnar

    thats crazy

    50 mph

i need to get a longboard

    hahaha

  • dude he hit the ground hard. bellyflopped.

that woulda hurt, even wit leathers.

  • he was fine. It looked to me like it may have hurt. Nice to get that one on film though.

  • Looked like the board hit him right where it would hurt.

  • top speed?

  • The top section straitaway hits about 50mph. not a super fast road, but super fun.

  • Wow thats amazing. Im not even sure if I can make a longboard run haha or keep it going.

  • looks like big fun

  • freaking insane. you guys are bomb. where are you skating?

  • The road is the Denny creek rd. near snoqualmie pass in washington state.
