  • wlang sound ??

oh sira lang siguro tong headset?

  • One of the prisoner escaped. Can you guess who that prisoner is? Start from the very beginning and count the prisoners and you will find out who is missing.

  • actually using annotations. Just place the note that u have no intentions of infringing the copyright of the owner... It's simply a presentation using he music.

  • wow! great Mr. Byron Garcia. You did a good job for giving a chance to these prisoners about one way of expressing themselves through dancing....it's not easy to be a prisoners......

at the last part....na umalis na papunta sa sasakyan yong mga prisoners....when the cameraman...focused to Gov. Gwen Garcia....na touch ako sa mukha nya....i felt sad.....i know whats in the heart of Gov. Garcia....even though the prisoners are the criminals...or doing illegal ...but still...they are the human..

  • and then they all make a break for it

  • they really deserve a second chance..

  • awesome work guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What a touching image for Cebu's (first lady) Governor. Sad eyes, i must say.

  • Since the day you were born through the years you were singing... you were crying But the world was happy... unaware of your difficult childhood days, unaffected with your very lonely life... Today you pass away, you are happy in heaven and now the world is crying... You were misunderstood and many realized that today.... Thank you for the 50 years of music you gave us while our inmates dance their isolated world away.
  • nice ! Sana lahat ng bilanguan ganito ang gawin...

  • proud to be a cebuano. long live MJ

  • Well done guys...keep on dancing and learning! In life...there is always another chance! Great job Mr. Garcia, for giving these people a chance to believe in themselves.

  • Well done! I hope some of them are given opportunities to finish high school or learn some skills inside the prison to enable them to work and productive members of society when they are release out of prison. I salute you guys for believing in yourself! and thank you Mr. Garcia fro believing in them, that every person deserves a second chance!

  • ahhh!>... so sad!... i'm so proud sa mga cebu inmates..

  • There are the happiest prisoners in the world!!!

  • :) Nice!

  • the end part is so sad....thinking they are to return back to prison... if i were the one i will not be waving goodbye. i would be crying.

  • Omg so beautiful to see ;)

  • R.I.P Michael Jackson

  • Hi Byron,

I love how you have showed compassion for these poor prisoners, you are a true saint and a positive influence for their rehabilitation.

    Jeff

  • Great to see,,but just make sure they ALL got on the right bus home ehh,???,,hehehehe

  • Inmates in Cebu, Philippines? Wow! They're good dancers. The Choreographer is genius.

  • Inmates in Cebu, Philippines are well disciplined. Wow!

  • haaaaah... sakit sa dughan. Byron, you have done a very good job. I pray that you will be given more ideas and encourage these people to be non violent. God bless you!

By the way, I have not been in Cebu for 5 years, how is the traffic? That should be taken care of too, it`s just too crowded.

  • iMAGINED TRYING TO MAKE A QUICK GET AWAY!!!

  • the inmates have no idea how they touch us, our hearts, esp. us Pinoys in a foreign land..with this vid, sana ma open natin ang ating mga isip na wag naman sana nating husgahan ang mga inmates..God bless them!!!

  • i totally agree w/ u :)

  • khit n mga inmates.. .they have still gud side...kktuwa nmn...ang ggling nla.. we should support them... lalo n ang mga nsa government ng cebu...

  • i was touched...God bless you all inmates!

  • haha it takes you going to prison to become famous lmao i tell u the world is so great

Good luck guys sana pahingi ng outograph. hehehe

  • this guys are famous now thanks to that one dude

  • God bless you guys.

It's so good to see inmates doing something productive instead of mindlessly beating up each other.

  • zambimura.. prisoners here in the US dont have disipline.... ehehe thats true!

  • TATS A GUY!GAY!!!!!!!!

  • this is soo sad.. i cried really when they finish performing and they go straight to the vehicles and go back to jail.. really breaks my heart... all the people in prisons are not criminals they.. ll people have bad and good sides.. i salute u guys u make people proud of u.. i wish they will get reward of doin this.. love u all!! good job!

  • It´s just a comment.

  • Awesome. Why can't they do this with prisoners in the US?

  • it breaks my heart to see them head straight to the vehicles awaiting them after their performances..they are prisoners and people think that they're less than what a human being is..we're all too quick to judge, but if we only see past their uniforms we probably we'll get to know real people who have worse predicaments as ours..instead of blackballing them, i think they need understanding, acceptance and support more than anything..remember, they're also human beings..

  • You do know they still caused damage to society and are not ready to return it [hence being in jail]

  • I'm well aware of that but I believe in reform. They did things they will never be proud of for the rest of their lives but they're now paying for it. If God forgives, who are we to judge them? being out of jail doesn't make us better persons than they are... I just wish others have the virtue to see past their uniforms and come face to face with reality that they're also but humans.. they committed mistakes but then who doesn't?

  • saludo ko senyong lahat:)magaling kayo!!!!!mabuhay:)

  • touching senaryo when the inmates making their exit while madam governor is watching them. well i saw naman na malamabot puso ni Gov. at ni mr. garcia im sure they do some actions about these inmates. Im not from cebu im from nueva ecija. well keep up the good work boys! mr.garcia and madam gov. GOD BLESS YOU and your family. take care and GOD SPEED!

  • Well said.

  • It took a lot of practice in the hot Cibu sun for those guys to get thet good. Any rewards for them?

Hey, maybe they could get booked on Letterman.

  • They were rewarded actually the governor was so impressed with the performance, they each got a grand of their currency -though just 22 U.S. dollars- to each inmate, all 1500+ of them. I doubt they will be allowed to travel all the way to the U.S. to perform though. They are disciplined to be able to pull this off but the rules over prisoners are unbending sadly enough.

  • i think the prison officer as done a fantastic job on the inmates

  • nothing BUT "EXCELENT"

  • Don't miss the new dance!

    watch?v=kDTCKS4qXM8

  • That was a great performance. It was rather sad to see them go straight into the bus and back to the prison like a bunch of show dogs. :(

To all those who say they ALL are murderers, rapists, etc. If you came from the Philippines you'd know how many of these people put in prison are just framed.

  • ang gagaling naman nila...:) keep up the good work...

  • kakaiyak nga... nung they rode the vehicled n 2 go back to jail..

    kaawa din kht pa2noh...

sna mgbgo n cla... pra mbigyan ng 2nd chance...

  • So proud to be filipino after watching the videos and the efforts of you and your inmates. So glad they got the bonuses too! You're all making the world a better place, one dance at a time. Keep up the good work, God bless.

  • why they need to do wrong things if they have the talents like that?? they could use their talents to find job!

  • to the garcias, thank you for doing a good job in cebu!

  • hey i almost cry watching those people return to their reality as they enter the vehicles as a prisoners...kaka touch tlga...

  • more guards than dancers this time ha. i felt so sorry for these guys. they could have make a living thru their talents but instead made a wrong turn on their lives.

  • They're more of a dance crew then inmates now :P .

  • you're right!!!!

  • I hope the rich people in the world could donate financial help to these guys to improve their way fo living, maybe make their prison more comfortable just for their willingness to change.

  • um, they did. after seeing this performance, people started donating & was able to raise 1.6 million pesos to be given to all inmates who participated for their "discipline" & "good behavior".

  • Is that DUDE as the chick?!

    ROFL! XD

    This is amazing. ^____^

  • Hello Byron if you are reading this we have some special requests for the inmates to do their dance interpretation: 1. Mambo no. 5 by Lou Bega 2. Macarena 3. I Feel Good by James Brown. I think the latter would be really great to see...im sure it will be an international hit again if they do an interpretation of this song. Good luck! We will be looking forward to see more dances.....

  • I am so happy that the government allows dancing inmates. You know most of these people commited crimes because of poverty and lack of education and awareness.... there are much more criminals in the world that are not in prison because they can afford paying good lawyers.

  • I am very happy to see them,it really fun. I hope they will release soon and do a dancing career lol.

  • hopefully after this, they don't do any more crimes, or else.... another dance number!!!! XD

    great job tho!!

  • he he he he...

  • YMCA!!!!

  • So sad to know that these people made mistakes & be kept in prison to pay their dues. Hoping that these activities make them realize how great they are thru the cooperation and artistic performance they have done that impressed the whole world. I believe that they will find in their hearts the comfort of being accepted and appreciated so that when they get out, they will do better for themselves and the rest of the world.Congratulations to the organizers/staff who made these videos.

  • SMELL MY FACE!

  • I hope they all go out soon...i feel bad for them :-(

  • This was a good video! Good luck to those guys. The first time I watched this I really thought that was a girl ...ahha found out it wasn't couldn't stop laughing! Hehehe Well job well done!

  • good job and very good dancers.i want to see them live but one thing i dont like when they have to go back in jail i feel sorry for them.what can i say that's part of their life.

  • everybody deserves a second dance...

  • Yes, they are prisoners, but that doesnt mean we cant say they are doing a great job dancing. Heck, they are probably better than me. This is a great way to soften them up. If I go to prison, I would like to go to a place that dances, because I feel good about myself whenever I dance and I am sure the prisoners have the same attitude.

  • NOT all PRISONERS are guilty, they committed crimes with their own personal reasons. Grand salute to the person who initiated this.Thumbs up to the prisoners who welcome the big change in their lives.

  • i just realized she's wearing a jacket! isn't it hot in Cebu?
