  • this is phenomenal!

  • nice but, at 1:05 u schould play f b d gis (not f b dis gist), and same situation at X position (gis d f(not fis) b).

  • I like this.

  • I like this.

  • Wow, you're awesome.

Where do you get the music for stuff like this? Is there some secret place I can get classical guitar sheet music/tab?

  • Hey, is that a Cordoba C5? Cus I have that same one!

  • Hell yea. You and your guitar look and sound so authentic.

  • That was excellent! I'd love to learn this piece myself, but it looks really difficult (too difficult for me ;)).

  • better articulated than by morel himself . thank you

  • @jedertagistgut I agree the articulation (and tone) is better than Morel. Not that that's saying much: Morel plays his own piece very badly - in particular the rhythm is rushed; Telemacher, like almost everyone else, copies this. Look at the score, you will see that Morel wrote what David Russell plays, not what he himself and so many others do.

  • @JamesEis I should explain that by 'rushed' I don't mean the tempo is too fast, but the notes fall over each other until they're not just a quaver ahead of the beat [where they should be] but a whole crotchet ahead. Having said that, you do make a great sound, Harris!

  • u r a talented guitar player

  • hey! nice! what guitar are you using?

nice technique and musicality man! =)

  • Bravo! Great moondancing!

  • I wish I could play it like that

  • Your version has a very different feel to other versions that I've heard, but it's very nicely played!

  • Really nice feeling ^^

  • Fantastic!!

  • harris! nobody can play danza better than morel...

maybe krystoph pelech.. but only maybe!

one of the best covers i`ve ever seen

hope i can hear it in a few years! I´m afraid ^^

    keep it on!

  • EXCELLENT! better than Morel :P

btw. TAKE A LOOK AT TEDDYBEAR in 0:44

    HAHAHA! Sweeeeeet :)

  • Cheers!

Yeah, teddy must have had a few too many cocktails!

  • @joonior1985 Haha it couldn't "bear" the pace. ;)

  • Thx for the video man, i'm just learning to play this song, and its really helped : D

  • Thanks and good luck with learning it!!

  • Thanks for the post :) who made the guitar? :)

  • Cheers!

That's a Burguet 1A. It's makes a beautiful sound without much effort and is easy to play, but it's not very suited to playing "beefy" pieces. I tried a Burguet Maestro once - it was amazing!

  • the bear in the background is so cool!!!, and you play very good!!, I love this piece =) ..

  • Thanks! I couldn't play this piece without having some fun!

p.s. watch the bear around 0:43 - his left hand drops - must have had too much to drink or something!

  • jajajajaja, is true!!, he realized that not equaled step, and said .. to hell with this!

  • Killer technique, great playing!

  • Cheers!

  • woww excellent I never hear this music! beautiful jajaja the outakes are very funny

    cheers!!! 5/5

  • Thanks! It's a fun piece... deserves some fun antics!

  • this is WOW WOW version. customs real cool and fits the song. Yr brother is funny. You made the clip repeating at that part. neato

    BJC

  • Thanks man!

I couldn't resist the costume (and the background props)!

p.s. I didn't know what my bro was doing first two times around..

  • Hey Harris, this is sounding pretty good! You should keep working on it, I think it suits your style of playing (especially with the hat, shirt and glasses).

Try to pay a bit more attention to the bass line, as it gets a bit lost sometimes. Also, there's a bit around 1.03 and 1.16 when you play a 3 chord response to the melody (a perfect fourth followed by two augmented fourths). Try to bring that out and enjoy it a bit more. Other than that, good job!

  • Thanks Ose! Yeah, the bass - in the first 4 bars of the repeated section? I found the rhythm in those bars quite difficult, so I guess I'm concentrating on getting the upper part right. Re the "3 chord response" (do you mean the 3 aug 4ths (dim 5ths to be pedantic) followed by the perfect 4th?) -- I like to cresc from mp to mf over the dim 5ths, accent the perfect 4th then straight back down to mp, but i didn't get it quite right in the recording. Cheers for the constructive criticism!

  • p.s. I'm not sure that Morel would approve of so much thought going into such a fun piece!
