  • this si the best he's ever done

  • @kingofeljello

In terms of jumps, maybe, this is the best he's done, but I'll send you another good one. Maybe the ones I'll send was the best, you may decide.

  • Yuan Wenqing is still more legendary tho

  • his butterfly jump is so high wtf!

  • Ya know- this is my video, and I've seen it a bunch of times, but... the more I watch it, the more I like it. Some of those combos he's doing are really really cool on their own- just super fast, but still traditional too. Great form.

  • yeah, i kinda noticed that too. at first, i see sloppy and somewhat rushed movements. but as i watch it more, i seem to like it more. you really start to see that he's solid and where all that speed and power comes from.

  • wow.. this was really sloppy, but his jumps were nice :O

  • you think everything in wushu is jumping???? lol jk. in wushu there's also fists too you know.

  • and feet. and stances. and posture. and so on, and so on.

  • mm i think you misunderstood my meaning behind my comment and made me seem like i wish wushu was like gymnastic >.>" but whatever thats ok but what your saying is exactly what i was trying to say anyways so no hard feelings.

  • he's so good.. what a high score but my favourite is stll yuen wenqing and zhao qing jian.. :D

  • what do you think would happen to the china athletes if they biffed it at the Beijing Games this summer??? china might try bury wushu forever from the world :O

  • he is not sloppy, he is just hella fastt

i personally dont like his flavor... he moves weird..

  • dude he's too sloppy, just watch him man i can't believe his score was so high. i don't see what's so great about him aside from his jumps, which admittedly are pretty freaking good

  • i agree with u

    he's way too sloppy

and his style isn't all that good compared to other top chang quan peepz of china

  • okay i will agree with shaobo about the competitors in china, but look at the world, the second place guy came from a country where we thought that wushu did not exist and his wushu sucked like shit. Yuan Xiao Chao was not only fast, explosive and strong to the end. High Jumps,Speed and explosiveness does stand out and for the score, since this is technical scoring, he did get the 2.0 for nandu, a near perfect for rhythm, and basics. Look at the worlds wushu.

  • im favoriting this just cuz i've never seen a 9.91 score...

  • i never liked this dood. sorry..... good speed at least, nice hops tho i wish i jumped that high jeeez. thanks for takin vids james good work.. -B

  • 9.91 - thats way too much for an ok performance.

of course his nandu are good, but his moves still have to improve (not in strength or speed).

but for a 9.91 he should have moves like yuan wen qing... still much work for that - YUAN WEN QING FOREVER :-D

  • The proper way to say his name is putting his surname first

    Yuan Xiao Chao

YXC is a strong athlete, he has power intensity and wicked speed and hops. Only problem is his koutuipingheng(which he probably didn't get deducted for)

  • Good job! I don't think it's worthy of a 9.91 though. There were a few places with shaky footwork and he probably could have held the balance a little longer. Good difficulty moves though!

  • I agree with you observations, superhs85, and so did many coaches. He was by far the best though, but I don't think anyone should ever be allowed to outscore Zhao Qing Jian, even if he's not in the same category (he only did dao).

  • It's Xiao Chao Yuan.
