Oh right... 18 year olds are such kids. These "kids" are sent to war. These "kids" can smoke cigarettes. These "kids" can drive cars. These "kids" can own property, get married, go to jail, amongst many other things. So you're telling an 18 year old they are old enough to kill for their country, start a family, move out of the house... but they are not responsible enough to go down to the bar after work and have a beer with his/her co-workers?
