@CorrosionMedia I think its because it takes the sound that muse makes half a second to reach the majority of the crowd, so they hear the noise and clap to it slightly later than when its actually played. I dont know im just guessing

@Daavoid I think it's the other way around. It takes time for the sound of the crowd's clapping to reach Matt and the cameras since sound travels in like 200-300 m/s (don't remember exactly) so that's why it's off beat. Same with national anthems on football games etc.

@TheWilbz Are you crazy? Morgan is just as much as a staple to Muse's live performances than Muse itself. Plus if you got rid of Morgan for the Reading/Leeds festivals, they'd have to use backing tracks for Bliss and Citizen Erased to name a few, which is worse by far than getting rid of Morgan.

@eddiewongham With all due respect to Morgan, I'd like to see him given the boot for one or two songs, this being one of them. I'm aware what he brings is invaluable, but just seeing Matt play the New Born intro at the piano and then whip the guitar out and going crazy on the riff is just a joy. Morgan does make songs sound much better by adding depth in live performances, but I can play the New Born intro...it's just Matt plays it better.

And I definitely agree with you on Matt needing to do the New Born intro for Reading and Leeds. Morgan is still the man when it comes to synths and he's there for any songs which need rhythm a guitar.
