I ever see hail that big, TRUST me, movin' my butt to Alaska, where the only storms are magnetic (Northern Lights) HOLYSMOKES!!!!!

I was in the area and also had large hail falling as large as softballs and it would be just one large stone like that and a ton of smaller stuff closer to quarter size and golfball size so I 100% believe it was a single piece of hail that done the job on his windshield. i also saw other peoples cars with the same thing, one large crack like that.

that sheriff is pulling your leg - something other than a single, random large hail stone hit that windshield - it's obvious that he is hiding something about the story - he probably catches really big fish every time he goes fishing too!
