@darketernal3 I don't have the values off-hand but yes, you are correct. However, Jupiter isn't really that close to the limit. After a certain mass, a gas planet will get smaller as its mass increases until it becomes so small that the high pressure starts a fusion reaction.

estimates put the suns remaining lifespan at 4 to 5 billion years with 3 billion until earth is uninhabitable due to stellar aging. so that should give Venus around 2 billion. by contrast if you terraformered mars it would be dead and barren in about 100 million years due to weak gravity and no magnetic field.
Why does no one ever talk of terraforming Venus? It might be a bit harder, but if we speed up the planets spin with high speed asteroid impacts we could create a world that would last for billions of years.

@coolwatch26 Ummmm, yes it can. Earths magnetic field is created when lava from inside earth is pushed out to the crust. Because there are volcanic flows on Venus, there is a strong magnetic field. If it didnt have a magnetic field, it would look more like Mars. Solar winds would have blown those thick clouds into the cosmos millions of years before. But Venus still cannot hold live because it is not in the Goldilocks Zone :P

Yes that's right, CO2 rises only after the temperature has gone up. Before CO2 has a chance to rise, 3/4 of it has already been reabsorbed by the sea (and 2/3 of the remaining 1/4 absorbed by the plants).

I read about a plan to terraform Venus. You would have to add water, giant ice balls from the oort cloud, put in algae to produce oxygen. Crash asteroids on venus to cool it off.ie a type of nuclear winte,except no nukes. Put in floating cities with colonist to do the rest of the conversion. It might take 400 years to accomplish.

I did a research today about Algaes. And CO2 is not the problem at all. Opposite the more CO2 is produced on earth by factories or cars, the more oxygen produced and more CO2 removed from atmosphere by algaes, which provides 50% of earth oxygen. This is surprising

Yes that's right, CO2 rises only after the temperature has gone up. Before CO2 has a chance to rise, 3/4 of it has already been reabsorbed by the sea (and 2/3 of the remaining 1/4 absorbed by the plants).
Galroid's Research estimates there are only about 10-20 particles of CO2 per 1 tillion air particles (a mix consisting of Oxygen, Nitorgen, etc etc..) worldwide.
As for oozne, CO2 helps it. Microwaves kill it. Know any billion watt microwaves anywhere?
