  • can u put a link for some plushie templates

  • I LOVE your videos... YOUR SOOOO HELPFUL!! You have Inspired me to do this forever!! Thanx xo!!

  • IM GOING TO MAKE A HUGE ONE OF THESE!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!

  • Aw, it looks cute even though it's fat

  • if u dont want the wrinkle, u have to cut the seam a little. Not to the point that the stitch falls apart but just so the seam can become more flexible. c:

  • the fat bodie look cute thou :3 2:20

  • If you clip the corners on the seam allowance where ever there are curves it will turn out better

  • Could you use rice to stuff it with as well, like a beanie baby? :D

  • To eliminate wrinkles, make a few cuts along the excess material before you flip it insideout. (Make the cutes to alittle before the seem.)

  • AND HOWD YOU MAKE A KNOT FROM THE INSIDE lol im new at this so tips like these are helpful please :)

  • @Bunnychanx3 i think i just tied a knot oon the outside and pulled the thread in to hide the rest of the thread, while the knot is kinda on the outside but you dont notice it too much. I dunno what the exact method is to knot it, I just did whatever, I'm not experienced in plushies either. look up sewing vids and maybe you'll find some tips. i just tied a knot close to the edge, and put the needle in the plushie and came out somewhere else, so the thread is hidden in there

  • WOAH FOR THE GREEN PLUSHIE WHAT FABRIC DID YOU USE DOESNT LOOK LIKE FELT xD

  • Oh and just as another note, to get similar copies, (as opposed to having a fat one and a skinny one) as I said before it's a lot better to hand sew them when they're that small because you have a better eye for alignment as opposed to sewing it with a machine and it's way more accurate.

  • @Silveirta ok cool. whats the best hand stitch for plushies in your opinion? the other times I hand-sewed something and turned it inside out I always had gaps and it didnt look closed enough (I used whipstitch). even though I had a handsewing vid, even I'm not sure if thats proper^^ (using backstitch for a plushie? or straight stich? for some reason I think straight stitch isnt secure, even though thats what the machine uses, they just look different..)

  • @jewellia7777 I just use a straight stitch. Using a whip stitch as you said you use makes it a lot easier to create holes. I've hand sewn tons of plushies to people I've sold to in the past and straight stitch holds nicely. The reason why it looks different on a sewing machine is because the stitches are A LOT closer together. When you sew a straight stitch just make sure your stitches are close together. You can even double it up in between the stitch spaces if you want. I do that sometimes.

  • It's wrinkled because the corners in between the limbs and the rest of the body is not aligned up EXACTLY where it cuts off at the curve. When you have sharp curves like that, unless you sew it at an exact point like the way your template is drawn it will come out slightly wrinkled. It's happened to me in the past. That's usually why if I have sharp curves like that I just hand sew it for a better result then using my sewing machine.

  • where do you buy the fatric ? plx answer

  • @TheMay1010 from a fabric store or use old clothes like this one

  • where would u get pillow stuffinng.. besides from a pillow.

  • @xDorkiBunny mines from an old pillow but I've seen it in craft stores and craft sections of shop where the yarn and toymaking stuff are

  • omg i have never thought to use scrap matterial to stuff it great idea

  • cut it a little ther where it at the arm after the sewing ..i think it gone work

  • Hi there, this is a really cool idea. Thanks. I'm a pattern cutter/machinist. The reason it wrinkles is because when you turn the body, the fabric seam is being stretched around the corner. Put a snip in the seam allowance that goes from the edge to as close to the corner stitch as possible. This allows the seam allowance to lie flat and should solve the wrinkling. In larger project you can use several snips to help ease around the stitching turn. Hope this helps. :)

  • @carriemcintosh thanks^_^ and thanks for the tip! I'll try it some time!

  • can u use any color (literally) and any material?

  • @Glitcher12243 yeah ofcourse, why not?

  • @jewellia7777 i made a plushie head ^^. Used it as a keychain for my pencil case, a white kitty head and green eyes ^^. If i can ill put a vid up.

  • @Glitcher12243 awesome? got a pic? how'd you do the keychain attachment thing?

  • @jewellia7777 got a few pics if u have an email i'd send em

and i just ran the thread like abt 3 times thru the plushie and the keychain (mine is on my oencil case tho) and then i just ran the thread thru the plushie, pulled on the thread and then cut it. mainly wat u do in amigurumi for hiding a thread ^^.

  • @Glitcher12243 oh cool ^^ you can send to jewelliaproducts@gmail.com
