great job , i practice on the sim in keeping the heli in front of me like im at the park .
you just taught me how to stand in the middle and fly all around my self now i have two per spectives to practice , i used to love flying like that on the sim thoe.
ordering my tourque tube tail this mornning my thunderpower battery just has to much power for my belt way to loud.
I've read about the helis and priced out my HK\EXI 500 at around 300 RTF with an Exceed 2.4ghz 6ch radio that I can feed some PPM into with a mod.
Just ordered the ehirobos Copter x package, I don't plan on doing any 3D flying seeing I'm slightly addicted to FPV.
On Hobby Kings sight the EXI\HK 500 ALL PLASTIC (or fiber plastic) version is 400 grams less than the metal version...would I have anything to be concerned about in regards to durability with the head or other parts with the plastic?
Metal most of the time take more of a beating than the plastic parts.
My opinion would be get as most metal as possible. It does make it cheaper in the long run. I have Stuffed my T-rex 500 into the dirt once and for sure plastic blade grips would have snapped. The metal ones survived and are still there!
