  • Ah! Thanks for uploading this video! Now I have an idea of what Florence, SC actually looks like. Part of my family lives there. My cousins grew up here but have moved away to Raleigh, NC. Cheers.

  • Thanks for showing that, I've been searching for my mother's side of the family that's located in Florence SC. I've never been there but I thank you for giving directions. I notice a sign that said Savanna GA, and Jacksonville. How far is Florence from there?

  • @HypeHere

Savannah is 176 miles (2hrs., 48 mins.) from Florence; Jacksonville is 308 (4hrs., 45 mins.) from Florence.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Ahh yes... the days at the Magnolia Mall.

  • Nice vid, I don't have any recollection of passing through Florence before. (unless by some odd chance, my family did drive through here, en route to my uncle's wedding in Myrtle Beach when I was I think 6) Anyway, it was interesting to see, and I love seeing older railroad viaducts still in use, like you went under at 5:52.

  • Thanks for taking me back! Maybe you could do another in Florence and use something by Florence's own Out On Bond?

  • @islandofthemoon

You're welcome, and thanks for watching!

I still have a little more footage from Florence; I'll look into it.

  • Very nice!

  • @dave11686

    Thanks!

  • That was a pretty interesting ride, good work!!

  • @CAMINOANDALUZ

    Thanks, Josan. I appreciate it.

  • Cool video. Strange route that US 52. I could drive it straight down here all the way from Minnesota.

  • @eluko79

Thanks, Luke. Wow! I didn't U.S. 52 went up that way; really, I hadn't heard of this highway until coming to Florence this past weekend.

  • Stupid question... what's a spur, or business spur? is it the main truck route to cities? :P

  • @04smallmj lol

  • @04smallmj

A spur is a "child" of a highway. Ex. I-85 is the "parent" of I-285. I-20 Business is a business route through town. I-20 (mainline) ends at the beginning of the video at I-95. I-20 Business continues to U.S. 76, where it ends. Hope that you understood my ramblings. :-D :-D

  • @Bryant5493 Thanks, that makes sense haha :D

  • @04smallmj

    You're welcome. ;-)

  • I like your choice of music for the video! Keep it up!

  • @casmatori

    Thanks!

  • Nice ride. I don't mind it without music; sometimes it's more interesting without it. Thanks again!

  • @CptSchmidt

Thanks, man. You're welcome, and thanks for watching!

  • Thanks for the drive through Florence! It's great to see a familiar appearance of infrastructure and set up of commercial buildings that remind me of the town I used to live in during my younger years in the South. It doesn't matter where you are down there it serves as a remembrance. Actually Florence isn't too far away from it!

  • @Reiser86

Yeah, indeed, you know when you're in the South. Thanks for coming along!

  • volume? Anyway nice drive. You should do a video for Charleston S.C Especially Rivers Ave. starting from Goose Creek to Downtown Charleston!.

  • @Ferrari4987

An AudioSwap is on the way. I want to get down there sometime soon. Seems to be a nice area. FreewayJim has a few Charleston area videos that you may enjoy.

Thanks for watching! I appreciate it.
