Love the guitar work, Jim. The opening lead tee's up the melody wonderfully. I often try to say different things with vocals and instrumentation, forgetting that allignment can be just as beautiful. Thanks for the tip.

Great dissonant chord movement beginning at 1:21. Great counter to the gentle feel of the rest of the song.

Nice backing vocals in the refrain, could be a bit louder.

Might be your best Jimmy, I think the song is so good that I miss much louder harmony during "Slow Down" I think that would enhance the song greatly, I would only expect something so good if were to come from the Eagles but anyways, I´m positive they would sign this gem. Just wondering....do you record in a sound booth when you do the vocals or do you record like what's on the video? My mic's pick up lots of extra noise and stuff in the open...and I'm trying to get a booth environment set up to try some vocal stuff.

What you're hearing is a live take recorded on that AKG mic that's visible in the vid, with added tracks (harmony, bass, lead) dubbed in. I think the trick to keeping background sound out is to experiment with the input level on the mixer and distance of the source to the mic. Some stuff is gonna come through regardless. Thanks again!

@jimmymac30 Your live sound comes across very well...I guess I bought a defective condensor mic....I've tried different locations, chords, interfaces and still have a hum with about half of my level indicator lit up by the time I get the mic to pick up my voice...
