LOVE this hotel. I was on vacation at Vegas a few weeks ago. Went here and I loved it!! Soo many beautiful women, plus I love the classy vibe to it. The casino itself is better than the club. The club had wayyyyyyy toooooooooo many people in it. Couldn't even walk. I dunno why they pack soo many people it it?? You can't enjoy yourself. Plus I was in line for a long time which ruined my buzz. If you're looking for a good time, even to meet a girl, you're better off chillin' at one of the bars.
stayed here in August with some friends. Great price, amazing view, excellent staff, comfortable room. Really could not have asked for a better place to stay also considering it was in awesome location right on the Strip.
Nice review, and nice hotel. We stayed there in Sept and jsut loved it... I booked a 1 bedroom terrace room and got upgraded to a Terrace Suite with Bellagio fountain view. Please checkout my video review of the Cosmopolitan and our room. watch?v=8b7bToP8kO4
Went for a visit last month and it looks way too modern. I reccomend the original resorts/hotels and casinos like the venetian, caesars palace, mirage, mandalay bay, etc..It's too plain and there's no big theme like the other resorts.
@TheSnoopy7936 It's theme is the definition of "cosmopolitan", it's all about having different things. I know many people prefer that over the basic themes of the other hotels. Between a stay at the Cosmopolitan and one at those other places, I, and many other people, would take the Cosmo every time.
@ericdscheller To me, I love the orginal nice marbled out hotels, but that's just my opinion and what I like, I understand that the cosmopolitan has a 'unique' and different theme which defines 'cosmopolitan' but on my second visit to Vegas, I still love mandalay bay, caesars palace, venetian, etc..
@TheSnoopy7936 Yea I got that, just saying it does technically have a theme, even if it isn't as out there as those others. And there are things I like from Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc, but I'm into more modern looks... so while I do like those places there not places I want to stay, they're good for a nice walk-around though. I prefer Cosmo, Vdara and Aria design as my hotel.
Exploring is exactly what I did at this hotel – it's the first time at a casino that I didn't feel like someone threw up on the carpet, except maybe the meeting space area "hallway" wasn't favored. You have to check out the pool overlooking the Strip – best place to take a photo. Loved how the pizza nook was tucked away for those who want to get away – so tiny, no place to sit. The Marquee club was total chaos and huge – still don't get the "line" structure. Very friendly crowd.
That's a big FU to Donald Trump, Sheldon Adelson, Steven Wynn, and all things Maloof.
The video columns are stunning and intriguing. Yes, the "curious class" likes to explore hotel spaces, but will they also try to be their own mini-Mythbusters when it comes to late-night experiments from those terraces? The terraces are a brilliant way to take full advantage of some of the best views of other casino properties.
We checked out the Cosmo last Saturday 1/8/11. What can I say - you HAVE TO check out this latest on the Strip. The lobby, registration, lounge areas are so beautiful and were meant to impress. You cannot miss the chandelier bar. It will take your breath away. Planning on booking the Cosmo next time we go LV.
