I wondered that too. (Wendy was only mentioned here by Benny). I remember Scotty Smalls mentioning at the end of the first film that Squints married Wendy Peffercorn and they have nine kids (here four) and both Squints and Wendy are the owners of "Vincent Drugstore." If Squints and Wendy are the owners, it should have shown them in the store or talked about the store. Unless maybe they quit. (Also, Squints probably didn't divorce Wendy since he never said that to Benny later in the film).

That's true that Squints was probably 10 years old in the first film and Wendy is probably 18 years old in the first film. Maybe Wendy decided to marry Squints for one thing, she probably felt so loved in her heart when Squints kissed her on the lips at the pool and/or another reason she probably chose to marry him was because, she might have never found a boyfriend in life and Squints was the only one in life who loved her which made her want to marry him.
