This is brilliant! I have super dead straight hair that does not let me have curls no matter how many cans of hair spray or tubs of gel i use... I did this for my workmates wedding and the curls stayed in :)

This is so pretty! You did a great job without a mirror! I like styles where you don't need heat to make curls. I want to try this, but It will be a bit challenging since my hair is knee length.

Yes you could!  It would probably be a bit easier with shorter hair in fact. Just use hair spray to secure any short layers which pay poke through.

are you using normal pins or the large ones for buns? also, where are placing the pins? as i tried this hairstyle but the loops just wont stay, and they are much thinner than yours too!

I'm just using regular bobby pins for this (normal size). Place the pins so that they attach the loops to the hair underneath. You will need to put the pin so that it holds the entire loops down, otherwise the loops will not sit flat. I'm sorry it's hard to explain, but I hope this helps a little. Keep trying! xx
