You know what they say about audio engineers, if you can't play the keyboard, buy a midi controller, and if you can't play drums, buy a drum pad. I'm getting so tired of videos like these of people with a little laptop and a usb mic making us audio engineers looks like it takes $20 to make a hit song. Tell that to my microphone which costs more than your house.
In fairness to "Big Pook" He's neither using a laptop or a usb mic for his recording studio setup. The Mxl v67 mic he's using is rated quite highly for its price point and from reviews found on online it is actually used by engineers who have access to Neumanns ,etc. Your $300 (cost of dog house?) Blue Bluebird mic I believe would compare equally to it. Imho I believe his setup is quite adequate given his application and with the right tinkering could sound great.

Question.../ im starting a recording studio right?... and people being TELLING me to buy a home theater instead of monitor spekaer cause they are cheaper..... and almost the same.. but cause im starting with producing music to i just wanna know if it is good decision at least for know.... ?????

@NGRAVEZ18 i started out with theater speakers and moved up to actual monitors 7 years ago when starting out you r not really going to be making 100 percent quality music but try and get some good speakers some m audio speakers might run you under 150 but it will really help your music

@hardcoreblowsbigones you're missing the audio recording interface($200), midi controller with surface pads($200), the condensor mic is tube driven($700 to 800), pop filter $20, the program Reason 5.0 ($300). You don't need to spend 200 an hour to get a song done. i spent money all on my own equipments too. you can find me on reverbnation search for "offaxis" and u can see the quality i'm able to get. All you haters have nothing, while we're out here producing ourselve. what you doing? Nothing.

Tune your guitar, buy new mics, set them up correctly, learn to mix, and kill the buzz.. -.- By the way, I charge $100 a SONG and my quality is PROFESSIONAL.
