The solution to out of control central power is to decentralise power. The key to avoiding corruption is to spread power into many hands. Have strong local governments that truely represent local interests. Make your local communities selfsufficient. Have your own local currencies. Use gold or silver for trade outside local areas as it cant be printed by the corrupt. Dont buy anything imported if there is a local alternative. Look at your neighbour as a friend as we are all in this together.

We can judge a man by his works and Ron Paul's works are demonstrated to be good, sound, and Constitutional for decades. Ron Paul actually cares about America and us. The other prostititions... not so much.

Wow, Ron Paul really has guts to say something like this -- I know of too few politicians and citizens who see things the way he does.
Hopefully, we can turn this country around, not just with the elections in Nov. and 2012, but also the misconceptions about the Constitution and the role of government!!!

Republicans were elected to get us out of Vietnam and Korea. He also represented ideals of the founding fathers. Jefferson, "peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations; entangling alliances with none." John Q. Adams, the US "goes not abroad in search of monsters to destroy."

And I'm going to prevent that." - G W Bush (2000). That speech is in regards to Clinton's actions and very similarly represents republican ideals of the past.

@PipesGunsAndGold1 you do realize that this was a stance every republican had 10 years ago. George W. Bush ran his campaign on a foreign policy of non-intervention and no nation building. It was only after sept 11th that republicans drastically changed this mentality. However, we can clearly see from history that it is our interventionist policy that is the reason we were attacked on 9/11. We encouraged Osama Bin Ladin to rise to power, we helped Saddam Hussein take office, we inspire terrorists
