@dontmarry No, he was trying to pin her arm with the GI, it slipped of and her opponent got her arm out but at the same time it put the clothe under her armpit which makes it easier to choke and control when taken back of her neck. So basically she was trying to find a choke.
Now both of these women would beat 99% of men out there with not much resistance, as they are technical and very skilled in positions. Both of them have black belts which in BJJ means usually over 10 years of training.
@curtin1 She does try for a choke... At 04:00 she takes a part of the gi out and wraps it behind the other girls neck. From there she tries to work it, but gives it up eventually for side-control. At 06:08 she tries for an armbar as well. Its kinda difficult to see if you dont know what to look for but, its there. + "position before submission", and winning on points is still winning.
