@spartypower Perhaps you can make comments on the requisite formality of the Rose Bowl tailgate parties when the Spartan Marching Band actually gets to go to one. It was a highly informal affair and was treated as such. The MI isn't so much a formal and strict parade band and prefers to have fun with the drum cadence when possible. SMB has a different philosophy. Good for them. That doesn't make either school right or wrong.
