Aardvajk has a point there. i was thinking the same thing. its actually really really dangerous because he is forcing him to the corner where he is trying to get out, but film maker is trying to get him out of there by making him feel guilty, which is exactly the wrong way to do it because it just doesnt work that way for us... we want out from the corner but feeling guilty is the biggest thing that makes us turn to booze, not out of it.
@badsign1980 Yeah I think that might be causing some stress for him though... The fact that his "stepfather" is younger than him. And trying to act like his dad. That's weird.
Great documentary. Everybody should also watch the 1945 film The Lost Weekend, if you have suffered from or are close to someone with alcoholism.
