...best parody of this cash classic was in the Galactica series , played on a star fighter pilot's walk-min as he waited near the event horizon of a singularity for a Ceylon ambush; the mission meant he would not be able to achieve escape velocity from the black hole , being ever drawn towards the event horizon. Made me weep with irony, as that where it all goes, eventualy.
