  • if i was this guy's team mate, and he played like this, and we still los, i'd ask for a trade so i can be a horrible team mate to some other guy. smh

  • Those announcers pissed me off they were ripping Denver and even tho T-mac had 51 Denver still won.

  • T-Mac's years in orlando reminded me of that one year when Shaq was already traded away from Miami and they had NO support at all and Wade was getting 40 point games night in and night out and still losing and i remember even tho that year was one of his greatest years he recieved NO award that year and no recognization for what he single handedly did for his team

  • If T-Mac never had the career breaking back injury he could have been the best player ever cause many people suspected him of being the next jordan, he cause as much attention as james and carmelo combined when they were both drafted during that season

  • @lovesupremei Don't forget that Agent Zero is wearing #1..

  • fuk the commentators

  • DAMNNNNNNN tmac man........i cant even talk about him anymore as many times I had to argue with people.... sometimes i cry =( lol no i dont.......sometimes..

  • Score 50pts, play good defense and try to get the team involved... still lose...so thats why he left.

  • @TheKingsKrown are you stupid?? Lebron to this day couldn't beat Kobe in a one on one game. Kobe is far to skilled in every aspect offensively and and is a far better defender at the tender age of 33!! Lebron holds size on Kobe but what's size when your post game is weak as can be. On the other hand Kobe has proven his inside game the last few years to the league. Lebron has a long ways to go once he hits this age and that athleticism is gone you will not be supporting him at age 33 nor will th

  • In His Prime, Offense - Defense YOU NAME IT!

  • 1:45 brings back memories

  • Scored over half their points

  • and still lost the game he always had/has a tough road to go through he didn't get much credit for his strong will to win games and championships

  • MY GODDD HIS SHOT WAS STUCK ON AUTO..WHAT HAPPEN TO T-MAC SMH

  • Game's like these are simply a testament to how shit these magic teams were... If T-Mac didn't go off for a big game they had no hope

  • T mac in beast mode...

  • Im a Kobe fan, but damn T-Mac seems way more beast in his prime

  • Comment removed

  • 7:28.... my thoughts exactly

  • tmac in his prime would be the best player in the nba right now

  • if Tmac would have stayed for Dwight Howard....

  • @cardicon23 if t-mac was able to stay healthy<<< thats not a skill, the greatest players have longevity

  • @gottgaame Him and vince carter use to just fake injurys now he is just sad

  • @cardicon23 they cant draft Howard if T-Mac didn't leave cuz he can win games..

  • @Balanar0Night0Stalk no he left when they got the first round pick, they would have had howard. In fact, part of why t mac left is cuz he wanted emeka okafor. He wanted instant help. It wuld have been good in hindsight if he stayed with howard, but at the time it was a huge debate whether howard or okafor was first pick.

  • @TrcyMcgrdy1 Oh didn;t know....

  • @Balanar0Night0Stalk they can cuz in 04 orlando waz weak team

  • he was EATING!!!!!!!

  • In retrospect T-Mac's game was so polished around 2001-2003 (his prime). His skill set, speed change, and lightweight body allowed him to move like liquid through defenses. I had to go out and get the Tmac shoes when they came out, hah.

Seriously Tracy was more efficient and his fundamentals were more developed than the overhyped trickery of todays guards and small forwards. For anyone that embraces mediocre fundamentals of today's game, go buy some black/blue TMac 3s and check him out.

  • @malutia he wasnt that efficient he shot like 45% those years

  • THIS SHIT IS LIKE PORN

  • why would melo be guarding Tmac in the clutch

  • to bad he only averages 8 points a game now

  • the good ol' days.

  • if he had the determination n the injuries didnt occur coulda been THE GREATEST

  • easily in 50 greatest

  • although injuries did cut mcgrady's prime short, he will be remembered as one of the greats i mean look at the fan following

    PRIME MCGRADY OR PRIME KOBE?

  • @oldmanwithers1 prime kobe...honestly...

  • @Caveman1006 Kobe in his prime would never be as good as T-Mac... Kobe was drafted to a team that was already and has always been stacked. T-Mac had to improve his game and his team (he used to be 8PPG with Raptors). Then in his last year with VC he got the most improved player award, meaning he didn't come in as a scoring machine. Kobe needed Shaq for 3 championships while T-Mac had himself for playoffs...

  • @ShadowNightGamer opinions....im not talkin bout they're team im talkin bout individually...had tmac had dedication and work ethic like kobe he woulda been a GOAT contender

  • "Let him get it by 2s not by 3s....Okay forget that....Just don't let him shot anymore.....TACKLE HIM SOMEBODY..." LOLOL T-MAC BEAST =3

  • anybody hear something strange on 4:11

  • Healthy T-Mac + Dwight Howard + year 2005 = championship

  • For long-time Orlando Magic fans such as myself.........watching this video-clip is like savoring fine wine! Allow me to state this fact: Had Tracy McGrady received ANY form of legitimate "star" support during his career in Orlando, his name would be mentioned in ANY conversations concerning the greatest players ever.......no question. T-Mac had to do EVERYTHING, including selling popcorn in the stands.......for Orlando to be simply competitive.

  • @aliquippawill if tmac played defense, he would be mentioned in any conversations as the greatest players ever

  • @akim2034 Watch Mcgrady in the playoffs. Against the Bucks, he shut down Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson. Against the Mavs, Mcgrady had to guard Dirk Nowitzki. Against the Jazz in 2008, he guarded Carlos Boozer. If u actually watched T-mac instead of making a fictitious claim, u would notice that he was the team's best defender.

But I guess ur just an ESPN highlight fanboy.

  • @aliquippawill what about Yao Ming???

  • @aliquippawill he had a shot with yao ming...both were injury prone...but tmac never played all 82 games he attempted a ton of shots...do people realize hes younger than kobe? he's played in 924 reg season and playoffs games combined kobe has 1311...kobe has nearly 5seasons worth of game more than tmac and tmacs the one who looks 40...the work ethic shows b/c kobe took care of his body and tmac did do as good a job....he shud still be a top player in this league no excuse why he isnt

  • @ridore9 You can't prevent injuries with "work ethic" u retard. Injuries are ACCIDENTS.

  • @spiidey1 lol yes you can... you can strengthen your body. If you keep your body strong your injuries are less severe and dont take as long to recover from. If during the summer you stay in basketball shape and get stronger you can. Knee's you can't but you can strengthen the area around the knee. Not every injury is an accident either. Maybe yao ming couldnt just because he's a freak of nature but mcgrady def could

  • @ridore9 No, u can't. Michael Jordan probably possessed the hardest "work ethic" of all players but he broke his foot during his 2nd season. Mcgrady's body like Penny, was too fragile for an NBA season. I bet u didn't know that Mcgrady suffered back problems since Toronto.

Unless you're a physical therapist or a doctor, what you're saying is purely FICTIONAL.

  • @spiidey1 its common sense...if someone takes care of their body better than someone else they are in better shape...it influences several factors...i didnt say you'd never get injured i said it makes you less susceptible to them. T-mac's played 924 games and kobes played 1311 almost 5 full nba seasons more than t-mac...its not just genetics...t-macs never played all 82 games in his career

  • @spiidey1 I think he just fell back on his talent and didnt work as hard to improve and strengthen his body.

  • @ridore9 Dude just stop. Obviously ur a deluded Kobe fanboy who thinks that T-Mac got by on talent alone. U have no concrete proof other than the amount of games played. Most NBA players don't workout in the offseason because the stress of the NBA season is just too much. That's why Yao broke his foot so many times since he had to play for his Chinese National team EVERY off-season.

Keep spouting opinions dude. I know ur not a true b-ball fan.

  • @spiidey1 No its not...and how is what your sayin not an opinion?? do have evidence to support your claim? lol I'm deluded... Its common sense you take care of your body your body is stronger therefore your get less injuries and the severity is less if you do. But some of it is the body itself... Like yao ming 7'6 300 plus pound body puts alotta stress on his feet. i compare kobe n tmac b/c both came outta high school and had similar talent levels and about the same age same body types

  • @ridore9 They don't have the same body types. T-Mac was prone to back injuries in his youth while Kobe never had an injury of that magnitude. T-Mac had to carry a team by himself about 5 times in his career compared to 3 for Kobe. T-mac actually worked hard in the 05-06 season and added about 13 lbs to his frame to better stabilize his back. Unfortunately, it didn't work because it resulted in more severe back spasms in the 05-06 season.

There, FACTS. I can keep going with this dude.

  • @spiidey1 kobe added muscle in the 04-05 season i believe or mayb the 03-04...either way you can't say someones body is the only reason for the injuries in mcgrady's case especially read the van gundy and morey article about tmac and they even say that mcgrady relied on his natural talent and didnt work as hard

  • @ridore9 Jesus Christ... Their body is in no way similar. Just because they're both prep players, it doesn't mean they have the same physique. Going by ur dumb logic, I suppose Garnett and Lebron also have the same body types, right? U still haven't explained why Penny and Jordan got injured despite having great work ethic.

U do know that the article was talking about team practice, not individual practice right? It doesn't matter how many times u practice because it won't prevent injuries.

  • @aliquippawill DREW GOODEN !! /trolling

  • @aliquippawill u r exactly right...and whats really frustrating was the stats didnt even close to do him justice...how many passes has he set up his teammates just to see those shots wasted..if anyone watched Tmacs performance from 2001 ~ 2004 you will know how much he had to do on a nightly basis...the thing is by the end he could not afford to play 100% at the D cuz then orlando can barely score enough points let alone try to win a game..best he had for a little while was mike miller

  • @retrotw He was the best player in the NBA for 3 years yes but trust me "aliquippawill" is not right at best he is 1 of the best in our generation his defense even with houston was not that great and he played as hard as he could at both ends of the floor he was way to competitive to not and you have to be a champion in order to be considered good thats why so many people think the current best player is kobe bryant and not Lebron even considering how bad kobe would be beaten in a game of 1 on 1

  • What ya'll talking about, t mac advanced past the first round since he was on the active roster of the 2009 Houston Rockets

  • McGrady is God

  • Tmac and Melo are the sickest

  • tracy mcgrady sucks

  • @boygalak You suck your a nobody get off this page your nothing but a hater what a joke TMAC>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Kobe talent wise not even a comparison McGrady made him his bitch back in his Orlando days when Kobe would be airballing jumpshots consistently in LA Kobe is a puss a quitter he quit on his team when thngs weren't going so good in LA in 07 when they could barely compete for a playoff spot Kobe is nothing without Shaq/Gasol/Donahey and Stern he has 0 ZERO rings! end of discussion your a joke

  • @MilesP777 u suck

  • @boygalak He sucks cause he's telling the truth?

  • Comment removed

  • @ShadowNightGamer its not about L.a. here ok asshole, its about t-mac

  • @boygalak Im the asshole? Your retarted aren't you? Your telling him he sucks just because he's stating that T-Mac was WAY better then Kobe in his prime. You might need reading glasses you retarted asshole.

  • Comment removed

  • wow t-mac's team sucked.

  • he is so smooth, he reminds me of george gervin

  • kevin durant still has a lot to learn from this man in his prime....tmac is one of the better passers while KD is not....tmas has also a lot of moves with his jumpshots...durant is relying too much on his length to take a shot off. and the GRACE...... the art of being smooth...... that's what made him my most favorite player of all time....next to MJ of course.

  • man did anyone catch that poor victim at 8:30 who T-Mac put in a Body bag?..LOL..SMH!

  • I actually remember watching this game. He was on fire that night. Great player not so great leader. Durant reminds me a lot of a healthy Mcgrady on offense.

  • @kyo220022 i agree on kevin durant reminds me of tmac

  • tracy mcgardy no anthony i dont care if your king here i going to invade

  • 3:19 is like hey meloman....and 3:21 is like byeee meloman...:)

  • 3:19 is like hey man....and 3:21 is like byeeeman...:)

  • So.. loseing 6 straight games.. is an object?

  • lolololol announcers!!! :D

  • I Miss da old NBA on ESPN Theme song...I miss da old NBA Period

  • thts a rookie anklebreaker for gooden.. hahahha

  • i wish he could still get 51 pts next season

  • 03:19 Melo crosses Drew Gooden badly..

  • i think the boston celtics is the greatest team that doc rivers coached but t-mac is the greatest player who has ever been coached by doc rivers...

  • T-mac one of the best...too bad for injury him and penny had it going.

  • TmacClutch, every now and then I force myself to keep in mind just what it was like prior to when I was able to dunk in bball. Right after I applied the training system at 50inch vertical[dot]com - my game has been improving alot - you have to take a look at it!

Tracy McGrady 2003: 51 points vs Rookie Carmelo Anthony iftptfmybwtdnrtd zkbcssnfuktwb #TmacClutch

  • he should have won MVP the year he won scoring champion...no one was better than him that year...now hell never win it...love you TMAC

  • The player of reminds me of T-mac from back in the day today is Kevin Durant. He is tall, long and skinny just like T-Mac used to be. And he has a quick trigger. God i miss the old T-Mac. I think that number 1 is cursed. Ask Penny Hardaway.

  • Didnt even win? Pathetic. Doc Rivers sure got lucky when he started coaching the C's.

  • I LOVE HIS JUMPSHOT ITS BETTER THAN KOBE'S AND LEBRONS

  • @dbeast103 i agree and im a kobe fan

  • tracy mcgrady was the man back in the days yo damn that crazy

  • thats sad 51 points and loose a game

  • if Orlando Magic was as good as the present Orlando Magic.....T-Mac could have won NBA Championship!!!!

  • The health T-MAC is the best!!!!

  • kobe got nothing on him

  • @acaciastreetfilms actually he has an MVP award, 2 finals mvp and ehm 5 RINGS!

  • @acaciastreetfilms no look at sme kobe games vs tmac back then kobe was smashing him

  • yeah tmac ur the best

  • BEAST....SMH

  • TmacClutch, is 5 10, white and can dunk easily. Wtf you mean white guys can't jump? It's all about the training individuals do to get their jump to be high enough to dunk. However for me, I personally used the exercise workout over at 50inch vertical[dot]com

  • watch the video "funny kid with jars"

  • #VIDEOPOSTERID# really, what else can I say.

Anyone who owns a basketball need to all study the way to dunk, I only just a short while ago finished the workout program over at 50inch vertical[dot]com - it's the best course there is (Guess what, I'm only 5'10!)

Tracy McGrady 2003: 51 points vs Rookie Carmelo Anthony

  • Next year. Tmac is back

  • seemed like such an exciting game!

  • tracys recovering from a knee injury, an injury which usually takes 1-2 years to fully recover. Watch next season

  • T-Mac's good but now...it's age people...age...age and injury...what can you do?you play everyday all the time...muscle and bones get beaten everyday....T-Mac need some time...at least 1 or 2 years...

  • SICKEST PLAYER I EVER SEEN

  • Arenas is the best though.

  • TMac Really was the Best Player in the Nba

  • Kobe Bryant ?, Shaquille O'Neal, Tim Duncan ?

  • Yes Better than Kobe- Shaq and Duncan

  • T-Mac sucks looka t him.

Kobe is averaging 27 points, 5 assists, 5 boards, Duncan & Shaq are both out of their primes but when they were in their prime they we're way better

  • Shaq plays Centre and Tim Duncan plays powerforward- we cant make that comparison. Tracy is injured couple years ago on houston Mac was at...bout 60 percent and he was handling every superstar in the league. In his prime quadriple teams couldnt stop him- just ask the san antonio spurs when Houston was down 12 and Mac dropped 13pnts in 33secs on them to win the game. Tim duncan was the defence player of the year that year- Bruce Bowen( 8time all defensive first and second team) tried his best 2

  • wow learn some history. seriously go fact-check all the things you just said. many are very wrong.

  • @JDev82 Why dont you correct me

  • tim duncan never won defensive player of the year, and id like some evidence that tracy "handled every superstar in the league".

  • @JDev82 My bad on The Tim Duncan part - he got All first team defensive. To see Mcgrady shit on every superstar you gotta check tha tapes- browse youtube- type in who you wanna see

  • the old tmac is gone

the current tmac will be like penny hardaway after his microfracture surgery

  • TmacClutch I'm just a 5 8 white guy and I can dunk over people. Anyone can do it, you just need to follow the right training program. I followed the one at (50 inch vertical [dot] com) but any workout is good as long as they

Tracy McGrady 2003: 51 points vs Rookie Carmelo Anthony

  • i love all the pump fakes at 2:56

  • 2:57: 3 pump-fakes in 2 seconds lol.

  • at 7:28 the announcer says "that guys sick"

  • DAMN!!!!!!!!!!!

  • HAHA "Maybe he should turn around so they can see it says Mcgrady on his back"

  • I miss that ESPN theme

  • im always gon be his number 1 fan idc wat anybody fuckn says ...........love em

  • what if t-mac still as healthy as in this video at this time?will kobe exist?NO coz in the video kobe doesnt exist, they where all talking about t-mac,that was on the orlando years,01-02

  • does anybody knows the music at 1:36?

    please!!!

  • Now he need;s to go play with Iveerson in N y.

  • damn i remember when he was this good, now hes just bothered by injuries and his game just isnt tha same, used to be my favplayer

  • @YOSOYELDURO23 he still is one of my fav players

  • Tmac eyes were not half closed until he played in ORL, he was always mad from losing so his eyes got stuck that way X-)

  • hahahahah wow

  • wat r field goals

  • your mom

  • its when the ball goes in the basket..soo a field goal is pretty much one basket..but a fg is equivalent to 2 or 3 pts depending from where u shooting

  • Thanx

  • any point scorn during the action of the game

like anything points besides like foul shots

  • OOO thnk you

  • points scored in the paint asswhole

  • yeah... no more wafer.. he was raw... got to the rim wen ever he pleased... plus his shot was soo hard to block.. jus hangs it to the last second

  • People really can't fault McGrady for not making it out of the first round. You look at this game, he was literally doing EVERYTHING a player can do and they still lost. Its the team that you need in order to win. T-Mac had the full package, he could score in any way possible, he could defend, rebound, pass, block shots, EVERYTHING on the court. What more could his team ask him for? You cannot watch this clip with a straight face and say he isn't one of the best SF's ever.

  • Sorry but you mean one of the best SGs ever do you ??? Because he is shooting guard ;-)

  • thats so true

  • @ChrisnSnoop yes, i think if T-mac need to win he have to be with steve nash and yao ming and great passer and a great rebound, becasue mcgrady can't do it all for the team

  • @ChrisnSnoop I could... he was good but not the greatest ever and after watching this clip I agree he's good but Nuggets have always sucked at Defense... McGrady has had too many injuries to call him the greatest, and his career hasn't been the greatest either

  • @ChrisnSnoop

    well said man (or woman)

  • @ChrisnSnoop his teammates sucks!!! thats fo sure.

  • @ChrisnSnoop amen!

  • @ChrisnSnoop im srry but u just took back everything u just said by calling him a small forward hes a FUCKING shooting guard why do u think he wasnt covering fucking melo u dumbass ur a disgrace

  • @ChrisnSnoop u fucking disgrace he was a FUCKING SHOOTING GUARD i agree with everything else though im sorry but get ur facts straight why do u think he wasnt guarding melo

  • McGrady was freaking UNSTOPPABLE on the court! Goodness gracious he was a beast. Hopefully he can make a comeback, I believe it.

Magic fans really need to appreciate the fact that they've gotten the chance to support 2 of the greatest small forwards of all time in Penny Hardaway and Tracy McGrady.

  • i like him better in ORL

  • He's great as a Rocket too. 13 points in 35 seconds? Unreal.

  • LOL @ " that guys sick" LOL

  • A healthy mcgrady is hard to stop

  • he needs a partner..

  • DAMNNN 8:43

  • Fucking Beast!

  • Prime time T-Mac had a nasty jumpshot.

  • He still does
