There was a whole lot of dust. I was hoping they would begin construction shortly after demolition, but an office member tolled me it would begin January. Its so sad and lonely seeing a big empty desert of land where a beautiful structure once was. I was able to walk around it after school last year to the car. The new one better be nice, and resemble well!!!
So sad to see. I signed my name inside of the tower. The entrance to get up to the tower was located in the Theatre lighting booth. The stage manager let me go up there once. In the old days they used to have a real bell in the tower which would be rung after a football game was won. I'll truly miss this historical landmark. Bob Felde Class of 1988.
