And the fact that god drowned the children in a flood he caused, is the fault of the parents?

I have to admit - it's nice that christianity has given rise to such arts. Not simply music, but theatre, sculpture, paintings, etc.

What confuses me is why people seem to think that JC is somehow removed the god of the old testament. That JC is somehow unrelated to god, yet... they insist that JC IS god (of course they must..).

But this is a god that drowned the entire of humanity, simply because it didn't do what he wanted it to - and other genocides too.

Not just because they didn't do what He wanted them to do. Other genocides? Would be for the same reasons. God is good and without Him all good people would be dead. yeah, that would include the children. What evil, malicious, obnoxious, disobedient little brats those newborns must have been, raping and murdering each other with neonatal fury. Perhaps the slightly older toddlers were voluntarily saying rude things about the god that created them with free will but wouldn't let them use it?

I consider evil something that causes, or allows harm for no ulitimate point - kinda like hell, ya know?
