  • Encouraging, because it gives me hope that maybe my son and all the other kids out there could have a decent future - I get so overwhelmed at times, I need all the hope I can get.

  • if you studied ancient geology you would find no corresponding era with the rapid acceleration of global warming we are currently seeing. yes the earth has been warmer at times due to natural fluctuations that take thousands of years to come about. global warming is a product of the over consumption of resources and destruction of the environment which leaves us in prime condition for wars, famine, disease, and ecological collapse

  • Stunning oversimplification, tremendously misleading, and criminally stupid. If Pope actually believes this he is an idiot.

  • Sorry, but I despise the ''2% incremental solution'' perspective as naive and false.

Sure, we can ALL "cut back", but diminishing returns will hit LONG before we approach that 40th year (from current relative 12% to 10%, a relative 20% drop!) WTF would any honest person call something a crisis and ask for minute sacrafice now and monumental sacrifice later? (Answer - an honest person would NOT)

  • If we all held our breath for the next 40 years, it would not make the slightest difference. The answer to global warming is mother nature. She did this before in the earths lifetime, and she can and will do it again. Study your ancient geology !!!!

  • Hardly the point. We can change what we can, and mom nature will only go as far as she can. True that ice ages and melt ages occur over and over (theoretically). However, we do have a bit of control on this one- at least to alter her plans for a few hundred years.

  • Global warming is very different climate change. You are suggesting that mother nature is involved with this. She is in charge of climate change. It's important to know the difference because human beings are involved in global warming.

  • Volume is too low to hear very well.
