Idk, the 2013 mustang coming out sounds like a better deal to me. Yeah, its $3k more wich is tough, but 305hp, LED tail lights and HID headlights standard on all models. Looks awesome with its new shelby-ish redesign. 0-60 in the mid 5's, handling is great, and RWD. Oh, and it gets 31hwy like the scion. Its a hard one..
I got my tC.. it's just like thisone except I have the stock radio, a spoiler, fog lights, the double Xenon light set, and the TRD exhaust! it's great. And for the price, you can't go wrong. best bang for buck in my opinion and it's cheaper than the Si despite having a bit less HP. Only downside to this car is the composition of the interior plastics.. really cheap and hard.
i love how the competition is the civic, forte, and focus. If you pick one of the others you are shorting yourself! For a coupe the mpg ratings are off by around 4 to 5 mpg. i drive a 2005 tc and get 27 in town and my sisters 2011 gets 27 as well in town and both of us don't drive like grandmas. PLUS the saftey of this car is unreal watch the crash tests! Nobody would regret buying a tC especially if you're young looking for an affordable, sporty, and car thats fun to drive. Just my 2 cents :D
@hk19800 or you could go for the new 2011 wrx :) 27000 for turbocharged fun! plus the outside looks are identical to the new sti with the exception of the big rear wing which im not a huge fan of anyway.

Every review of the tc fails to mention the rear legroom for the passengers is 34 inches, four more inches than the civic coupe and less than 2 inches than the sedan model. I live honda and want a coupe but no pissing off my passengers is always a plus

The $20,000 tC is a good valued car.
But if the price of loaded customized tC gets to $30,000 I would rather get a brand new Genesis Coupe.
